Giovanni's Italian Mediterranean

A persian friend introduced me to this place, I went there for lunch with a friend and enjoyed a good lunch. I had the combination Kabob and chicken plate, food tasted fresh, rice was nice and tasety and plenty, I will be back soon, can't say enough about the wait staff, the server was real friendly, I was told she is related to the owners.

Check out this hidden gem. My friend had told me about this little place in North Dallas called Giovanni's and it serves Italian, Mediterranean and Persian food. I decided to try it while being aprehensive thinking I wouldn't know what to order but knowing that they also served Italian/Mediterranean food gave me comfort.
I knew a lot of non Persian people talked highly about their menu so I decided to check it out with my family.

The atmosphere is elegant yet casual. People were dressed up and dressed down. They havea bar and live entertainment on a stage with two great guitarrist on the night I went.

The porttions are huge and yes, I tried the Kabobs! Excellently served with rice on the side. This plate could be shared. The servers are helpful and friendly. The guests are there to have a good time. I saw older couples as well as families with children.

To top it off, then came the belly dancer. Beautiful and tasteful. Quite the show, Exceptional Evening!!

This food is so good...it is lot of money, but real real good . Everything taste so fresh. It remind me of real home cooking like my own mother.
you must try! I never write negative comment, but it is a bit expensive..but worth it. Call ahead.
