A R.

So first of all, I really like my actual unit, love the location and layout of the places, but not only is it super ghetto with the nonstop fire alarms blaring several times a week, but the sorority girl working in the office is the most unprofessional individual I've ever run into. I witnessed some seriously scary stuff today from this girl today! So, the fire alarms here go off literally nonstop. Usually twice a week, at 2 am. Today, however, it went off at 12:30 pm (apparently, they're making progress?). An entire group of people converged on the office today, to simply ask what was going on. Melissa the manager, was conveniently not in, and the quintessential Dallas sorority chickie, Katie, was the only one there. She has ALWAYS been rude, ALWAYS, no matter how friendly I've tried to be with her (typical bleach blonde Sigma Pi, I guess). Anyway, I believe I asked her simply "Hey, do you know what's going on with the alarm?" She just sneered and goes "I don't know anything." Someone quipped "That's awesome customer service." At this point, Bleachy Bleacherson totally exploded and got in all of our faces and started YELLING! I mean YELLING and stomping around like an 8 year old! "DON'T TELL ME I HAVE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!" A couple of us actually tried to talk her down but she kept yelling "I LIVE HERE TOO!! I'M NOT GONNA TAKE ANYONE SAYING I HAVE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I'M LEAVING!!" The phone was ringing off the hook, and she and her giggling roommate stormed out the door and took off in her car. This girl is supposed to be WORKING! I understand that a situation like this would be stressful for you, if you have no answers to give people, but to behave like this? In ANY other job, you would get fired for this behavior. End of story. A professional would stay at their post, try to remain calm and polite, no matter what. Thank God this chick isn't working in an ER or the Armed Forces! There is NO EXCUSE to treat your customers this way. She was clearly not hired for her brains or experience or friendliness, but I know plenty of cute little bleach blonde girls, who would do a much better job than this girl. Her behavior is completely unprofessional and inexcusable. Others have complained about her as well. As well as this fire alarm issue, which is deafening our poor pets, and those of us who work from home. One guy in our group is a lawyer, and has already written corporate. I do like my actual unit itself and the location. I really will hate it if I have to leave, but if corporate does not take care of this fire alarm issue, or the unprofessional little brat working in the office, I have a feeling many leases will not be renewed this year. I am very disappointed to have to write such a review. but if you aren't going to fix your alarm system, at least please hire professional staff. There used to be a woman named Sarah, who was very sweet and super professional, but this Katie's behavior is inexcusable. Bring Sarah back!!

Management not concerned about noise

Unfortunately, I live next door to this complex, and the complex is a very poor neighbor; living there would be worse. Generally, the complex has a frat-party feel, and it is not uncommon to find broken beer bottles on the road adjacent to the complex where many guests park.

Specifically, the pump on their pool began breaking down, such that it was as loud as a leafblower and could be heard above daytime traffic even when standing 100 yards away on Blackburn. After difficulty sleeping Friday night, when they were contacted ~1:00 pm Saturday, they did not consider fixing it a priority, and maintenance will not even show up until Monday, two sleep-deprived nights later. A noise complaint has been filed with the Dallas police.
