We are a process serving company and often serve CT Corporation as the registered agent for several companies via certified mail. At times our postal green cards are not signed. Recently, another green card was not signed and receiving person also did not print their name. When I called and provided a date and time of delivery which was 3/15/18 @ 10:03 AM to inquire who was the receiving employee at that time. I was told that that information could not be released, not even the recipient's initials. The reason being for the protection of the employee. The information was needed for filing a return of service to the court. I don't understand how such information would be a threat to CT's employee. It's just a name of someone who received the documents, nothing more. What are they afraid of? Speaking to a manager was of no use. I was given the impression this was my problem not theirs. I would have given them no stars at all if I could. There are other companies that serve as registered agents that I now recommend and/or suggest to my clients instead of using CT Corporation.
