I was recently laid off from this dept. 6th fl after working 2 1/2 yrs w/ this company. According to them due to the mortgage crises and credit cards(cust filing bankruptcy). This dept. has a lot of favoritism meaning if they don't like they will find a way to let you go or lay you off. My manager and I was really cool until one day she ""Margie"" decided to called Human Resources or Advice Counseling (It's the same thing) because of my grace period that I was using, which is about six minutes after your start time. I've did it for two years because I could not make it there before 11pm at night (graveyard shift). I had another job before I got this one. Margie did not talk to me about or anything. We then had a fell out behind this. Another incident I had with this manager is I had a complaint because the so call lead person in the High Speed Eagle area was talking out loud across the floor to other teammates about where is such and such why isn't this person back from lunch yet. So when coming back from lunch your teammates looking at you like you?re in trouble. I complain about this to the manager at the time and sent her an email (keep in mind that this is someone in her click that I'm complaining about). Margie tells me that I must have an issue with this person. I stated to her no I did not have an issue with this person and she said or yes you have an issue with this person. I've never worked in a dept. with so many unprofessional people in my life. This is just a few incidents. Then you have the leads (instigators) telling the manager every little thing that a person is doing that is not in there little click every question or concern that person have even when she's on vacation. Questions or Concerns that could of waited until she came back. Veronica is one of the leads and she would lie on you in min. Another thing mgr. would tell people in they click on things they should do as for as a heads up on what?s going to happen. like go part time so you want get laid off!
