Bangkok City Restaurant

VERY Good food. The ambiance is a little better than the typical asian place in the strip mall because it's located in a very old (fully restored) building on the corner. I always order coconut curry soup and it's GREAT! You can even get a big bowl of it with fire undernieth. Noodles, etc. everything is good. The food won't disappoint. One reviewer said it was pricey so let me say it's not economy but here's the deal: they charge for all the little things that are usually included such as rice. You will probably get a 'surprise' on your bill. Makes you feel like you've been nickle and dimed to death.

In Dallas, Bangkok City on Bryant is the best Thai food. Ood and Jan-pen provide wonderful hospitality and food comparable to the best Thai restaurants on BOTH coasts. The Thom Ka Gai is unparalleled and the pork dumplings are the best anywhere. If you really want hot food, try the Thai Fried Rice.... it will blow your mind. There really is nothing bad on the entire extensive menu. If you love Thai food and are in Dallas, you should not miss Bangkok City
