Nice restaurant for Duncanville. Friendly host and hostess. However, not all the wait staff are the best. Look for those who really care about the customer's orders and really try to get it right the first time and get it to the table hot and presented nicely. Some of the best are Angie, Bobbie, Christina, Gloria, Heather, and Kelly. I have had bad experience with some of the others. I ordered a steak cooked medium well. The steak was still red and I sent it back. Some ten minutes later the steak was returned cold and only just a little less red. Send it back again - this time is was returned hot but cooked to a piece of leather - almost black. I could hear the waitress talking to the cook saying "He is one of those you just can't please." By that time I had given up on getting a refill on my iced tea. We had guests and took them there for breakfast on Saturday morning. Bobbie was our waitress. I ordered pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon. When she brought the food I pointed out that the pancakes were so cold they would not melt butter and the bacon was hard, cold and burned. She immediately took them away and I could hear her telling the cook to "get it right". Few minutes later she brought out a perfect plate of food - just as I had ordered it. I recommend the place - just get a waitress who is really interested in serving what you ordered.
I have not written on a message board ever, until now. A friend from college brought me to eat here and I have been a fan ever since. I don't know where that friend is now but I am grateful for her introducing me to one of Dallas's best kept secrets. The staff is really nice and the design is…
34. De Tapas
Just found out our beloved De Tapas has closed after 12 years. Wednesday it ended. Apparently a Bar B Q place will be the new tenant. Like those aren't a dime a dozen. Where to go now for great Spanish Tapas? Cafe Madrid? Jaleo in Richardson? It is a sad, sad day.
36. Sangria Cole
This is my favorite tapas place... I have spent extensive time traveling in spain, and around the Mediterranean area... and this hits the spot for me everytime I miss me some spanish life... Grab a seat on the patio, order some drinks, and get a ton of tapas to share - can be affordable if yo…
38. Canary By Gorji
Gorji taught me how to make the most succulent pork chop I have ever eaten. In one of his cooking classes he showed us how to put big thick pork chops in the microwave for a few seconds after grilling to make sure that the center is not rare. That way you can still have a thick, juicy chop, but …
39. Cafe Izmir
I finally got the chance to eat at Cafe Izmir for the first time Friday. I've been a frequesnt visitor to the Izmir Deli and Kizmet for a few years, and I'm glad I made the trip next door. The place is small and cozy, and pretty crowded on the weekends, so avoid it if you liek to spread out an…
I've eaten at Palomino's in San Francisco several times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere by the bay and food equally. Moving to Dallas I discovered the food and atmosphere very consistent. Great Place to dine, great wait staff.

I placed a to-go order today for my co-worker and I and it didn't go through their system. So, when I got there, my order was nowhere to be seen. The manager came over and asked what I had ordered. I told him my order and he immediately took it over to get it started. Within minutes, my order wa…
For the price, you cannot beat Tony's. I have never ordered anything but the pizza, because it is so good. The prices are incredible for what you get. They do a big take out service; there is a wait frequently for a table during the week and there is a reason -- the pizza is great. The bread tha…
A persian friend introduced me to this place, I went there for lunch with a friend and enjoyed a good lunch. I had the combination Kabob and chicken plate, food tasted fresh, rice was nice and tasety and plenty, I will be back soon, can't say enough about the wait staff, the server was real frie…

Wether they are naughty or nice this holiday season, this is the perfect place for kids. I went with friends, and the kids there seemed to really enjoy the food and as a result did not seem to be loud and ?naughty?. I have come here with mine and have also come in with a date and all in all it?s…

I love it! It's a little nook that shouldn't be overlooked! The Greek pizza is AMAZING! So full of different flavors! The beef kabob is just as great! At just $4, you can't go wrong! The guys running the place were really cool and friendly! I'm glad i stopped by and gave it a shot!
This place started small in Casa Linda Shopping center and I""ve been eating here from those days...many years ago. I love the lasagna, pizza and the great handmade garlic rolls. The food is not bland and you can smell the garlic! THanks for the great food Peter... (the owner) You are missin…
50. Roti Grill
Good Indian food: good enough that Sub-Continent ethnicities come here to eat too. Have tried almost everything over the years. All good. Order the Texas Portion if you are hungry: this time I enjoyed the Combo Tikka with Raita. Dang it was good.
The dinner was a bit expensive but the food had great balance; you have to try their lamb. The staff was attentive to us and accomodating to special requests. The chocolate cake and the tiramisu are fantastic choices for desert but I am partial to them. In all of the restaurants I have been t…
Love it, , not a fan of Italian (can cook just as good at home ) , but this place has changed my view . From the crispy fried calamari to the buttery crusty rolls. The food is great. The staff here are neighborhood friendly. BYOB so far, The pizzas are huge, beware you will leave stuffed. I have…
Same food you can find anywhere, cheaper or more expensive, it all tastes the same, looks the same, nothing original here. But it does taste good. And service is good.

So this is a build-your-own sandwich / bowl kind of place: nice selection at the salad bar for toppings but I know it's not a thing for some diners. Falafel: under-flavored if you are an ethic foods seeker. I have it in a bowl for the toppings I added helped with the flavor but they are bland with a hint of black pepper. Shawarma: lamb was nicely cooked but the again kind of tame in the flavor department. I had this as a small sandwich: pita is on the thick side about the thickness of thin toast bread. Fries: well, they are fries. Nice mayo and curried ketchup dipping sauces. Overall it's ok: if you're going to be in the area already and all the other dining spots around are packed come here. Just don't make a special trip.
My first time at any of these Zoe Kitchens: very nice, bright, food is made to order after you order and pay at the counter, and in not too long a time it all shows up. I ordered the hummus trio as my starter: showed up with my entree. GGRRR!!! Nice trifecta of hummus flavors, kind of bland for my taste, but pleasant. The Beef Kabobs were decent: two hefty skewers, grilled veggies and course "mashed" potatoes. The beef had a lamb chewiness to them (fine if it was lamb, but not for beef), grilled veggies were nice, and the potatoes were tasty. Overall nice place.
This has become me & my husband favorite place to eat. The restaurant is very simple and didn't impress us much when we walked in. The reason we both love going there is cause of the food. It's very healthy & delicious middle eastern/ Persian food. Plus it's Halal which is wonderful as its hard to find few good choices of Halal restaurants. When we do in we have our usual order chicken kabob for me & my husband loves their lamp item with outstanding green rice!
Ordered the sampler platter and got a ton of food: kebabs, gyros, lamb chop, lamb, chicken, beef and more. All delicious with perfectly grilled meats. My only complaint: way too much salt in the Adana and the gyros. And I'm not afraid of salt. My fingers are going to swell up later. Service is still sketchy: still too new to find their groove I'll assume. THIS PLACE IS BYOB!!
Very interesting food, beautifully prepared. The real tastes of Persia. The service was excellent, food timely, etc. Wait staff really knew each dish well and helped us experiment with a positive outcome. Fun to try to figure out the spices used in each dish. We will go again soon to try something else on the menu, Highly reccommended.
Every time I have eaten here its been fantastic. The food is very reasonably priced, and the flavors are delicious and unique. Its a great place to go out to dinner because its probably something you wouldnt make at home, so worth spending the money on! The atmosphere is wonderful and cozy. And the service were soo nice and helpful
One of my absolute favorite places for lunch! It's convenient, fast, and delicious. I almost always get a combo chicken/veggie souvlaki and the spanikopita for appetizer. Yum, yum, yum!! The last time I was there, my friends were remarking about how fresh the food is and I know they'll make it a favorite place now too. :)
A beautiful restaurant decorated in the traditional way with a hint of modern times. Excellent and quick service. Delicious food. Had a great dining experience. Also, went for lunch the other day and tried their lunch buffet, and it was incredible, the variety of foods they have on the buffet is amazing.
I might have found a new love. Today was the 2nd time here for lunch (got the chicken kabobs the first time and it was OK). Today I go the roasted chicken and OMG... The sauce was sooo heavenly and the chicken was equally juicy. The pita bread has just enough doughyness to make me want more.
