My husband and I went to Shiraz last night (Saturday 1/6/18) for date night. We showed up at 8:30pm and decided to sit at their bar which was completely empty. We sat for about 15 minutes before walking out. No one smiled at us, no greetings, no menus, nothing. There were 4 servers standing to the left of us and the manager came over to get water directly in front of where we were sitting and didn't look up once. We are very patient and don't mind waiting, but when we don't even get an acknowledgement after 15 minutes of sitting down at an empty bar, it is very discouraging.
One of my absolute favorite places for lunch! It's convenient, fast, and delicious. I almost always get a combo chicken/veggie souvlaki and the spanikopita for appetizer. Yum, yum, yum!! The last time I was there, my friends were remarking about how fresh the food is and I know they'll make it…
We eat here almost every time we get over to Dallas. The food is great! It is BYOB if you are interested. I love the vegetable plate and my husband orders the Gyro Plate. We have tried other menu items--always very good.
4. Cafe Izmir
I finally got the chance to eat at Cafe Izmir for the first time Friday. I've been a frequesnt visitor to the Izmir Deli and Kizmet for a few years, and I'm glad I made the trip next door. The place is small and cozy, and pretty crowded on the weekends, so avoid it if you liek to spread out an…
Terrific dinner -- merquez lamb sausage pizza, beef brochettes, spinach & roasted fig salad and calamari. Signature martinis. Wonderful atmosphere, great service. Small adds to the ambiance. Owner present and friendly. Will definitely return!
The dinner was a bit expensive but the food had great balance; you have to try their lamb. The staff was attentive to us and accomodating to special requests. The chocolate cake and the tiramisu are fantastic choices for desert but I am partial to them. In all of the restaurants I have been t…
Ordered the sampler platter and got a ton of food: kebabs, gyros, lamb chop, lamb, chicken, beef and more. All delicious with perfectly grilled meats. My only complaint: way too much salt in the Adana and the gyros. And I'm not afraid of salt. My fingers are going to swell up later.Service is sti…
So this is a build-your-own sandwich / bowl kind of place: nice selection at the salad bar for toppings but I know it's not a thing for some diners.Falafel: under-flavored if you are an ethic foods seeker. I have it in a bowl for the toppings I added helped with the flavor but they are bland wit…
I really wanted to like this restaurant. I love Mediterrannean food, and I have wanted the time to stop and try this place for a long time. I have been driving past, and never have the time to stop. Finally, today, I made the time. Walking in, the place was almost empty, but that works for me. …

It was one of the best mediterranean and persian places I've had in the area. I really liked the chicken kabobs with this sauce that they had. It had loads of flavor and it really hit the spot. My friends and I really had a good time. The way they decorated the place is really nice. I would sugg…
Love this restaurant. The menu is great and the food is delicious. From the minute you walk in the front door until you leave, you will find a friendly competent chef and wait staff. Nothing disappointing about \r PARIGI.
Ordered the sampler platter and got a ton of food: kebabs, gyros, lamb chop, lamb, chicken, beef and more. All delicious with perfectly grilled meats. My only complaint: way too much salt in the Adana and the gyros. And I'm not afraid of salt. My fingers are going to swell up later.Service is still sketchy: still too new to find their groove I'll assume.THIS PLACE IS BYOB!!
It’s a pricy place. The food was good, but the portions were too small for the high prices. Small cup of white rice was $5.00.
So this is a build-your-own sandwich / bowl kind of place: nice selection at the salad bar for toppings but I know it's not a thing for some diners.Falafel: under-flavored if you are an ethic foods seeker. I have it in a bowl for the toppings I added helped with the flavor but they are bland with a hint of black pepper.Shawarma: lamb was nicely cooked but the again kind of tame in the flavor department. I had this as a small sandwich: pita is on the thick side about the thickness of thin toast bread.Fries: well, they are fries. Nice mayo and curried ketchup dipping sauces.Overall it's ok: if you're going to be in the area already and all the other dining spots around are packed come here. Just don't make a special trip.
Referring to the location on Beltline & Tollway. It's quite nice. A good place for lunch if you're on a schedule. The food is good although I'm sure the chicken is processed. That's my only diss. For a $10 lunch it's almost exceptional.
My first time at any of these Zoe Kitchens: very nice, bright, food is made to order after you order and pay at the counter, and in not too long a time it all shows up.I ordered the hummus trio as my starter: showed up with my entree. GGRRR!!! Nice trifecta of hummus flavors, kind of bland for my taste, but pleasant. The Beef Kabobs were decent: two hefty skewers, grilled veggies and course "mashed" potatoes. The beef had a lamb chewiness to them (fine if it was lamb, but not for beef), grilled veggies were nice, and the potatoes were tasty.Overall nice place.
I fell in love with this place on the first day and with the service and it's staff, I have never felt neglected keep up the good work.
Soft music, great service, flavorful hot meals that dances on the palette indicative of Turkish cuisine. perfect for date night or friends enjoying the evening. Being from Seattle, this place scored high on my taste buds.
Shiraz Mediterranen Restaurant Is coming soon in Dallas
I had the chicken and my wife had the lamb. Everything except the babaganoosh was amazing, but I most likely just don't like babaganoosh.
