From Business: Located in Old East Dallas, La Popular Tamale House has been serving the best tamales in Dallas since 1984. We are a family owned restaurant founded by Jesse Moreno, Sr. He wanted a place where people in the neighborhood could go and get delicious food in a nice comfortable atmosphere. Now people come in from all over to e…
We have been going here almost since it opened. The service has always been good. The hot sauce is sometimes a little too hot but it is the best and its addictive. My whole family will hardly go anywhere else. My husband and I both have gotten the beef fajitas and ours have always been tender.
Ive been here a few times and never been let down. The happy hour prices are great and the food is very fresh! My friends and I always have a good time at Hacienda. I highly the Milagro Margarita....it was yummy!!!
If your ideal Mexican food is smoothered in cheese sauce and lard laden refried beans. This restaurant will NOT meet your ideal. But if you like fresh, healthier options like black beans, lower fat cheeses with fresh salsas then you will not be disappointed. Their grilled chicken is fantastic…
There are a lot of Tex Mex places to choose from in Dallas, but this one is a cut above. We were there as part of a large group, a company party, and Mattito's was perfect for that. Attentive wait staff were right on top of things - even with our large group. The colorful, festive atmosphere was…
I LOVE Tupy's. We went to the first location on Northwest Highway in the mid-late 70's, and were devestated when it closed for several years, before reopening on Midway. Went there every Tues night for the Tupy Gold margaritas, Friday Enchiladas (great with lots of fresh onions) and Tupy Tacos…

This is the real deal, complete with cabritto grilling on hibachis at the table. Mariachis stroll around and the decor is like a lodge with lots of heavy wood furnishings and the wagon wheel chandiliers. A fun and moderatly priced restaurant.
Decided to treat myself to a shrimp cocktail at this restaurant. I enjoyed the food the waiteress were nice, not very attentive but nice nonetheless. The cocktail was as expected , Good . I would definitely return and try more of the menu.
This is the BEST Tex-Mex around!!! Try their signature entrées and The Mariano Margarita!!! The atmosphere is so cool and inviting... fun fact: the owner invented the frozen margarita machine. The service is excellent. They take great care of you. This is also a great place to bring your kids.
Breakfast all day and a familiar menu of Tex Mex greatest hits on this menu. The Pollo Con Vegetables is a huge dish: a massive two-breast grilled chicken (or one massive earthly creation) buried under a massive mound of perfectly grilled veggies is delicious and large enough to serve two (or take home for another meal).Staff are friendly unless you get stuck with the trainee like today :(
