We have bought from them on 2 occasions, and were satisfied both times. Our salesman was nice and we felt like we got a good deal.
Just tried to grill the steaks we purchased and they smell rotten. I'm sure the others are the same, likely driven around all day in a warm freezer. Fortunately I only bought two boxes, so a $50 lesson learned. I should know better.
I am a long time customer of Grillmasters, I have a hard time believing all of negative comments on here, I get the best deals on meat and chicken for my family, over the years we have all seen.a price hike at the grocery stores, our salesman will occasionally up his prices as well, but it is still so good and convenient, I received a gift card to Omaha steaks and their product tasted worse than any other meat I have ever had and their prices were ridiculous. My salesman asked me today if I was satisfied to please write a good review online because think about you always see the bad reviews but hardly anyone posts about their good experience. Well we are true.customers and telling you the taste of our chicken and steaks are delious.
Send them on their way and close the door. We tried the first batch of steaks this evening and the taste was awful, I still have a fishy smelling odor on my fingers from handling the steaks even after washing the dishes. There is a date on the boxes (1 week ago) , but no indication of what the date means "use-by, expiration, etc", the salesperson said it was the date the meat was packaged, its probably the use-by date :-(I still have a nauseous feeling in my tummy 2 hours after eating the crappy meat. The company wont refund you for the meat, they'll only agree to replace, but we don't like the taste and quality. We'll be cooking the remaining GrillMasters meat for our pet when we grill our preferred beef from the storeStick with meat from your local grocery store.Unfortunately you can't give a zero rating, so we'll give a single star.
Three 5 star reviews placed on the same day by people with user names "first.last.###" ... That's not suspicious at all! If you're going to post fake reviews at least cover your tracks a little better. Grillmasters! Yeesh!
I recently purchased some steaks from a nice salesman. He wasn't to pushy and was very professional. I grilled them up this past weekend and was blown Away at how tender and juicy they were. I got a great deal and have recommended to a few friends to try. I look foward to trying other products of grillmasters
Had some of there meat at a barbecue and it was really good would recommend them to my friends.
I purchased steaks from the salesman hoping the meat to be of decent quality, but expecting the worse. They do a great job with their packaging, and their salesman gives you a lot of empty guarantees. They talk about how great the quality is, but the reality is that it is very poor quality and shrinks down dramatically when cooked. Now that I've said all of that, I will admit that I took the chance more because I felt bad for the salesman walking around on a beautiful Saturday. What a horrible job! So I got some low-quality meat...not the end of the world. I will say that all I bought were 6 ribeyes for $40, so it's not like I paid $150+ for the case. I really feel bad for all of those folks who have spent big money and been deceived.
My husband is a meat lover, and this personable salesman showed up at my door a couple of days ago. I am not much of a "red meat" person, but I thought my husband would be so proud of me for buying all of that meat for $160.00. What a joke. It took 2 "filets" to make 4 bites once it was cooked. My husband was very unhappy with me, and I will never hear the end of it. He said to stick to Kroger or HEB; these people take advantage of naive people like me. I wish I would've listened to my "inner voice" and said no. I could've went to Kroger and purchased much better quality meat at 1/2 the price. Lesson learned.
