The owner of North Pride Trucking Jose Villarreal hit my son today and took off from the scene, luckily my son wasn't hurt, and was able to follow Jose to his place of delivery off 46th and Tejon. Neither Jose nor my son was ticketed since there were not witnesses. What infuriates me is that Jose didn't have the human decency to stop and see if my son was injured. I would encourage anyone doing business with North Pride Trucking to cease from doing so, his actions today proves lack of character! There are a number of other trucking companies that may be used. Sincerely,A concerned Mother!
These guys did a great job. I couldn't be happier. They set up everything for us. They did a great job.
The worse experience I have ever had. They damaged nearly all of our furniture. They put a firefighter on the moving crew to go along with their gimmick but he doesn't have any moving experience. The guy we had was being showed how to put a dolly under the boxes on our moving day. They berate you into giving them a tip, this started in the first 30 min of the move and lasted all day. They slow play the move so that it takes as long or longer than the quote you get. It was almost comical to see the guys have to go to the truck after every box they brought in to get a drink or they stood around outside talking in between each load. Then when they realize they are close to the time they actually started running in and out of the house. The customer service guy that dealt with all the damage wasn't much better, very slow to respond, un-organized, scheduled appoints and showed up hours late with no call. I would never use these guys again and will never refer them.
Would give them a ZERO if I could. Try calling them, wait for 1/2 hour and then they just hang up. Wormy outfit
Still waiting for a delivery. Won't answer the phone and have not shown up with our merchandise. It has been 2 days....
Movestar is beyond excellent! I have used them for two moves now. They are hard working, professional, kind, efficient, and careful. Genuine people and great company. Worth every penny.
Aug 29th 2012, Our radiator fan broke, El Paso gave us a price of $219, but did not have one so we stopped in Dallas, they can get one in 24 hours, their price is $253 but will match El Paso...Later We found the same one (Borg Warner) online for $120... duh ! Then we were told 12 to 15 hours to install at $135 per hour ($1620.00 to $2025) WOW !! I am 68 and my wife is 66, we ARE NOT mechanics... We cut a 5" hole in the bottom of the fan shroud, used 2 studs, installed spacer and FAN, patched hole with diamond plate... TOTAL time 3.5 hours.. AND they are called "MECHANICS" Next we needed A plastic coolant overflow tank, ours cracked from age (VERY COMMON) Their price $24, took 5 days and was CHARGED $37.00 shipping because THEY don't stock IT. So, if YOU go there, bring your own Trojan, how will we ever thank them ???
