The Greyhound Bus Station in Atlanta, Georgia used to rival an airport. It was centrally located, had a parking deck, was big, clean, and efficient in handling passengers. But it was relocated in 1996 so Atlanta could build an Olympic Park. Since then, it sits in a dilapidated corner of Downtown across from a strip club. The building looks like a double-wide trailer. There are no bus bays, only a street. Parking is scarce. The inside is cramped. The place is filthy, especially the restroom. The self serve ticket machines rarely worked when I was there. The customer line was horrendously long. There was not enough chairs. God help you at Thanksgiving or Christmastime. People from all over America get their first impression of the city when traveling in by bus. What a pitiful sight! Greyhound, you and Atlanta need to do better!

I had a really bad experience with them as soon as I got on the bus #111 I started feeling itchy at first I thought it was mosquitoes. The itch was getting worst and worst until I asked the lady next to me to check my back she and all the passengers where really surprised of how bad my back was. At our first stop I went to the bathroom and found out how bad my legs where as soon as I got to Dallas I went to the hospital to find out all the bites were from bed bug bites I had to miss work because they wouldn’t let me work the way it all looked. ONE STAR IS TO GO OF A RATING!!!!Headquarters please please take action!!!!!! I have witnessed people being treated less than human . I also had a incident were we paid to exchange a ticket and then could not board the bus. After at least 5 calls I was able to get the time changed .For God sake get these people some training and make them be held ACCOUNTABLE. If not hire someone that will represent your company with Pride .Something has to be done!!!!!

I am rating this company as a 1 star only because there is no option available for a Zero rating.My brother was booking a trip from Orlando to Boca Raton. The charge should have been $62.00 including the $2.50 charge. I volunteered to pay for the ticket with my credit card. I saw no information online about an $18.00 surcharge if I used my card instead of his. This is highway robbery and as far as I am concerned fraud.
This is the worst bus service, greyhound don't give a dam because the people are limit to bus service because if there was another bus service going to Wichita Falls I would take it but that is ok I will drive. The owner is an incredible lifesaver. I was stranded with very little cash and he went out of his way to work with me so I could get out of the rain. What's more than that, he was professional, his cab was spotless and in good working order. I highly recommend utilizing his taxi service. It's easily the best taxi company I've ever ridden in.
