I have used MPT Remodeling many times, this last update project was a nightmare. They did the demolition quoted, the painters that came in next an the nightmare began. We were quoted all woodwork would be sanded/refinished to match the other trim throughout the house. They did not even attempt to sand the old paint off as quoted....they painted over the existing problems, we requested the paint match and even had the can of paint used before. As they were painting I noticed the paint was a very high gloss but was assured many times that the paint would dry to match other woodwork. The next morning it was a if the paint had never dried....I call location where the paint was purchased and told that it was the "wet look" and a the paint was $15/gal. They also ask to be paid before the paint before they left and the kitchen ceiling not done yet, which I did pay them in full as I trusted them to finish job. After we called and talked toTomas he had one of his guys in - at that time I was seriously upset and pointing out all the things that needed to be fixed....this guy left as I was told we over-whelmed him with all the problems. Tomas did acknowledge that the wrong paint was used.. but should have known by the cost of that crap. He was angry that we did not stop him before the entire downstairs was painted - including the doors and all window seals that had to be painted to match. His guys come back out to paint kitchen ceiling as quoted....they painted half of the ceiling and were preparing to leave...as they were done. I got them back inside and they did finish. Tomas made it was very clear he did not want to make the corrections as it was going to be a huge job. Doors now needed sanding to remove the paint that did flake off and may now to be replace - all 7 of them. He did offer us 1/2 of our money back. I have now had other painters in and they are quoting us double the price to fix the problem, requiring all wood to be replace. A complete mess!
We would definitely encourage anyone with an IRS issue to contact Jim Matthews.He is an honest, competent, caring professional. Jim was always there for us when we had questions or needed help. Unlike other IRS resolution firms who keep milking you with their high hourly rates, Jim Matthews offered us a flat fee which was a big plus. He definitely goes to bat for you and stays with you until your case is resolved. We have referred people to Jim Matthews in the past and will continue to do so.
The salesman took 2 hours of my time, and refused to show me the window sample or any of the styles. He refused to give me a price for even one window. He kept saying that he had to go over everything before showing me the features of the window. I had to be really firm to get him to leave my house. There are other fish in the sea. I will not buy from this company after the way the salesman abused my time, and was obviously trying to hoodwink me.
Rented a floor maintainer and diamond diamond disk to remove thinset. It kept tripping my breaker ans didn't take up the thinset so I took it back..the tool rental guy MARK was extremely rude..in told him he charges he a fee that I did ask for too.. he replied I should have read the contract..I told him he was right but he added something without telling me ..I told ta his job to tell me what he is charging me for..he went to get the machine outbid my truck. Spewing rudely to me the whole time..I told ta ask him why the animosity. ..I only have rude experiences at this wheatland home depot. ...so sad

We hired Mi Casa Remodeling from Thumbtack website to remodel a small bathroom and ½ bath. We had a terrible experience with these contractors. They took our money and did not complete the job. Rufino is an unethical and unprofessional contractor I have never met. I reported them to Thumbtack and other websites. Be careful to do business with these contractors.Tricia's review is correct. Horrible ! This guy is a scam artist. Look up Alltex Contractors in Ovilla, Tx. Screwed his employee's out of money and was aressted in Ellis county. Went belly up as a contractor now trying to scam homeowners. Watch out.
My husband and I had out taxes prepared here. When I inquired about the cost of the preparation (3 times) my question was evaded. We got a ridiculous bill for personal taxes. I had the preparation review by someone else the following tax season and multiple errors were found that had cost us THOUSANDS of dollars. It was suggested I contact this firm and notify the preparer. I did that in hopes that some of my bill for TWO people to review the original preparation would be refunded for their error and my need to have it reviewed. All I got was condescending excuses. It is deplorable the lack of professionalism and expertise that was displayed and I was charged to have 2 people make errors at my expense. Please be aware before you walk in the door that you may not get what you pay for! If errors can be overlooked on a personal return I hate to think how many errors are made on business preparations. If I could rate this company a zero I would.
