I was chased, yelled at, and harassed by the two parking attendants "working" at the Elm Street Dallas Lot. The woman hanging out with the man sitting in the vehicle harassed me from the moment I parked to walking up to the pay station. That may lead you to wonder why there needed to be two employees hanging out in the lot if there is a pay station right? I walked up to the pay station and paid and was still being told by the lady I needed to pay. After placing the receipt in my car the woman and man yelled at me, while the woman followed me saying I hadn't paid. Upon my arrival back to my car after picking up my food across the street (a total of 3 minutes). I was told several times by the man and woman i was getting a ticket. I told them I paid and they demanded to see my receipt. I don't know who these people are and do not have to listen to them. Worst customer service imaginable and why are they needed to if the machine is working. These employees are standing around and yelling at customers. The male was obviously doing nothing but wasting gas and blocking the driveway into the lot. The woman needs to be fired for her ridiculous behavior. Give people a ticket and shut up or actually do your job and see that people have paid.
Came from out of town to tour thanksgiving square. Charge $8 an hour for parking. Walked through garage smelled like you know what. Went to elevator to towers ask where restrooms were. Was told couldn't use them unless we worked there. No wonder the parking garage stinked so bad. This is thanksgiving square mind you. No public restrooms in thanksgiving towers you can use.In my opion it lost the meaning of eveything Thanksgiving square is suppose to stand for.Talk about discrimination.
We just returned from a trip and stored our car at Best Parking. The trip out was fine (so I'll give then one star).. but when we arrived, and it was midnight, and 23 degrees, we called the office to make sure we could get a shuttle. All I heard was "the shuttle is on their way" over and over and over and over. I never got to ask a question. Finally, we asked where to stand and they said "in the green area". So we stood in the green area. The driver came by and passed us once. We called again and got "the driver is on his way. The driver is on his way" repetatively. We tried to explain that he just left us and she hung up on us. Finally the driver came back around and was barreling through and we flagged him down. He said "this is not the right place" we said "this is where we were told" he showed us where and I asked what makes this green different from the other green? Silence ..i asked "ia let you show me, now tell me how this green is different from that green area" silence. .. we go to check out, (no clue that it's the woman from the phone) she puts her hands across her face and says "I had two people on the phone" ...ok....does that warrant the driver leaving us and being rude? she was do consumed in her need to avoid drama that she was incapable of dealing with anything. She just put her face in her hands. We just shut up and left. Horrendous service!!!!!!!!!! The lady had no clue what the problem is ......and was so consumed in her need to not deal with reality that she could not hear anything. Lord help if we had a real problem. Neither the diver nor she would make eye contact or listen to ANYTHING...they are not ca pile ca pile of communicating with clients. STAY Away if you want to be treated as arrested human being. They are too busy ignoring reality."
I had a parking contract at Hall Arts Garage/Metropolitan Parking because it was the cheapest garage parking this end of downtown. Their contract parking rates currently average about $20-30 lower than all the neighboring garages, but there is more to consider than just the price. There is only one set of elevators from the main garage, and either or both are usually out of service at any given time. If you're averse to walking up or down stairs and looooong underground hallways to get in and out of the garage from time to time, you will hate this place. There's only one partly staffed booth exit out of this garage, which means during events and at certain times of day the line gets backed up and you get stuck in a long train winding through the garage and down into the next level. Speaking of levels, the lower levels of the garage flood during heavy rainstorms along with portions of P3 and P4. Also, the garage is nowhere close to climate controlled (but the elevator lobbies are and they keep those freezing cold in summer) so the garage is always hot, humid, and suffocatingly stuffy in the summers thanks to no ventilation. As far as staffing, they've had some nice people come and go over the years, but there is extremely excessive turnover thanks to management's lack of integrity in business practices and sloppy, illogical, and irrational handling of situations that arise, towing and ticketing. Example: they're the only garage that requires a 30-day cancellation notice. It's just a parking space -- totally stupid for them to act like you're renting an apartment--as if they need notice so they can get every different space you parked in each day ready to rent out again. SMDH I've seen many an irate customer going off on them. My advice: STAY AWAY.
My daughter and her husband had their truck valet parked by Advantage Valet at Lonesome Dove restaurant in Fort Worth TX in May. When the truck was return to them they had over $5000. in tools and personal property stolen. The truck showed no signs of break in. After many calls to Advantage Valet, Bruce an employee, offered them $400. and to add insult to injury he suggested that an expert thief may have picked the locks. The tool box in to back of the truck was gone through as well as the cap of the truck. It is unlikely that a thief had to time to pick two locks while avoiding being seen by the employees that were parking cars. Its not safe to use this company.
We had one of our employees leave his car there for 20 days because he needed to rent a truck to deliver some equipment for a job. When I checked into it the monthly fee was $75 but in the end when he went to get his car the fee was $270. When I called there office the person that answered the phone was very rude and hung up on me. I filed a dispute on their website and nobody has the decency to even call back or send an email. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.
