I won't buy my glasses anywhere else. Their prices are hundreds of dollars less than anywhere else. They're a bit hard to find, but well worth the effort. Once you've used them, you'll do it again and again.
I worked there and I got in trouble for not serving the rich white guy instead of the very nice African American who was their first before the rich white guy. I was raised to be a gentleman and to treat people equally. Also, the blonde assistant manager yelled at me in front of the customers. Not very professional.
I have been a patient for around 7. Dr. Mosbacher is wonderful, she detected a strabismus in my eye that required surgery to correct which several others doctors I had previously used missed. I want to be loyal to her but her staff is horrible and incompetent. Maria just hung up on me.I want to do business with them so I ordered my contacts from them instead of having them shipped by a national contact lens seller since I don't mind picking them up. The online price was $183 and they gave me $200 plus a $20 dollar gift card they said they would register me for.I picked up the lenses and her lazy staff refused to register me for the rebate. Three times I reminded them that I was assured they would take care of applying for the rebate when I picked up my lenses but that is only what they say when they are trying to sell you contacts. Once they had my money and I picked up my lenses they were incredibly dismissive and told me to do it myself, assuring me "it is easy." I don't care how easy it may be, the fact is they lied and said they would do it then didn't but they pretended not to understand this fact and certainly didn't care.My application for the rebate was then rejected because their printer was low on ink and the manufacturer said the receipt was illegible.I just called and asked for a legible copy of the receipt and only sent the copy for the contacts and not the copy of the exam receipt that is required for the rebate. The staff knows (or should know) both receipts are required but were too lazy to bother.I had to call back and I was told by her staff that the rebate was "optional" since they price match. Of course this is inaccurate since the rebate is required to make the prices match but when I pointed this out to her (angrily) she hung up on me.Between picking up my lenses, dealing with her staff and venting here about 1.5-2 hours of my life gone because I tried to support a local store with a terrible staff.never againThe eye care is absolutely top notch though, she is a wonderful doctor and very personable
Very disappointing and frustrating. Sketchy looking facility, with uncomfortable fitting area where you just stand near counter while the tech walks to the back way down the hall to make each adjustment. They were never able to make them fit correctly. Frames are crooked, too loose, and hurt my ears, but after several attempts bending arms and earpieces every which way they said it wasn't possible to fix them further. I felt like they were just rushing me out. I've never had glasses which could not be adjusted properly before. And I see LESS well with them than with my old pair, I presume due to poor lenscrafting, as the prescription had not changed much at all. I've stuffed some tape into space where the arm meets the front of frame to prevent arm from opening so wide they fall from my face. I paid extra for supposedly higher quality frames. I feel ripped off, and sick that I still can't see right.
I do NOT like being lied to. I have a very strong prescription, and having the glasses made correctly is Very critical. There are three measurements Base Curve, Optical Center and Pupillary Distance. Stopped here end of March for new glasses. First time the base curve and OC was wrong. Store offered to fix them - over 4 weeks ago. Had to call to check on order, was told they'd call me right back, took 4 DAYS. I asked them to verify the BC, OC & PD. Was told would be 5 minutes. 4 DAYS later was told lens were ready. Stopped by today. BC was good but mgr didnt know how to read the meter. Right lens PD was centered on the EDGE of my pupil (instead of center). Mgr lied & tried to tell me it was good. I may have been willing to give them a chance to fix it, but when the mgr lied to get me to accept lens that would cause eye strain, headaches &loss of focus (yes, this has happened before), that was it. The mgr at least refunded me for the glasses - but they have lost my business forever.
Problems at the Optical Shop. Called this morning asked the guy who answered if he could repair my daughter's glasses, phone slams down. Ok, I call back give the guy the benefit of the doubt. They are an E. Dallas biz and I support E. Dallas. Ask the guy, did you hang up on me? He replies "someone hung up on me twice". Me "it wasn't me, I called asking a business question, can you handle it?" Rude guy "obviously not" and slams the phone again. Crazy! Disappointing for an E. Dallas biz. Maybe he is a millionaire and doesn't need to sell glasses. GO ELSEWHERE!
I was Jeff's first customer and have always had excellent service and the selection can't be beat. The lady people wrote about is no longer there. Rick and Jeff will make you feel like you are the most important customer in the store
Great visit, very informative staff and Dr.Coleman took his time in explaining details and answered my questions. I would definitely recommend coming here to everyone. Reasonable prices too.
I was completely astonished that a customer could be treated in such a terrible manner. The receptionist was rude beyond definition. I would never recommend nor set foot into this facility again due to this.
