If you want to avoid entering the hosting hell dimension, here are 10 potential entertaining glitches, and how to avoid them.
Food good. Service bad. Everything dirty! Won’t be back!
My wife had the Texas Calkleberry Sandwich and said it was the best sandwich she has had in a long time. Two eggs, applewood bacon, house made pimento cheese on jalapeño toast!
Amazing service and creative designs by professionals who have been in the business for over 25 years.
Ordered the Margherita pizza: the dough was perfectly crispy with the excellent burnt edges you only get in a flame pizza oven, but the toppings were sparse almost as if I had ordered a focaccia instead. Shame, it otherwise tasted real good. Might have to try their other pizza offerings with way more toppings and sauce.Staff are very friendly, place is very elegant.Yes, they are open for lunch!
You like falafel? You like shawarma? This is the place to be for both: and if you like sandwiches you can order the MacDougal which have both items in the same sandwich. The hummus is very average. Try the specialty drinks!!!
Damn good lobster roll: generous load of lobster, cool and tasty. Roll could have been a little fresher but I can forgive that today.Sweet Potato fries were done right for me.
Best Thai restaurant in Texas! My husband and I came here last night for date night and fell in love. The service was outstanding. For a Saturday night, they attended to us above and beyond. My water was always filled (I drink tons of water) and the servers were friendly, knowledgable, and quick. The food was amazing. Most of all, I loved the ambiance. We are so thrilled to have found a local Thai restaurant that exceeds our expectations. We look forward to returning!
Ordered the brisket omelet with cheesy garlic potatoes (Chef’s Favorite Omelet on the menu): the omelet was mostly mushrooms, and a couple of table spoons of brisket bits. The potatoes had a pinch on unmelted shredded cheese and kind of a powdery coating (drowned in ketchup helped them a lot).No napkins (paper is all they do here) on the table. No salt/pepper in the table (they have to go packets for those). They don’t offer any unflavored tea (iced or hot).Restrooms have trash can with a lid you have to touch to open: eww!.Staff seem friendly. Oh well.
Ordered the double shakeburger, fries and the fifty-fifty (aka an Arnold Palmer): the burger was delicious, the crinkle-cut fries were crispy, and the fifty-fifty comes unsweetened as an option so what’s not to love there.I enjoyed my meal.
Well staffed and very friendly people behind the counter: pizza and Calzone (Stromboli actually) aren't bad either. It's big and nice on the inside (you can't tell from the outside).
