I stopped in yesterday with a group of co-workers on our lunch hour and it was all of ours first time their. The restaurant theme is cute, music selection is horrible. I would prefer light rock or top 40 not infused with dance club music. The music was a little off putting. The young lady that waited on us was very polite and friendly. She was very helpful. The young man that also helped us was also polite and nice but didn't seem too interested in being at work. The food was good. I had a pizza and the sauce was decent but could use some more flavor. It's a little blander than I prefer and I tried the spicy marinara my friend had gotten a sample of and it wasn't anything to write home about either. They should call it mild rustic instead of spicy rustic. The name is misleading also. I was hoping for some pasta since it is called Italian Kitchen but they only had pizza, calzone or salad to choose from. The dough was also bland and too thin. They only offer thin crust and I like something a little thicker. I gave 5 star because the customer service was exceptional comparibly with most other quick service places. Based completely on the food I would give that 3 stars. It needs some work. A more flavorful sauce would help things a lot but for 7 bucks you get what you pay for.

To start off I would say that we didn't know what to expect from Baileys. My husband and I really like the higher end steak houses such as Nick and Sams, Capital Grille, Pappas...etc. The decor is beautiful and stunning, I was really taken back by it. We went to the bar first for some drink…
We went to Tony's as part of a wine tasting. We had been there a few years back under the old ownership so we had a reference point to see how the place was holding up. Tony's did not let us down. The staff was great, our wine master was knowledgeable and better yet FUN. We have been to other wi…
17. Tony Roma's
Their food is just to die for and you can not just go once. Their service is great and you get all you want for a great price. it is a very nice place to go out and eat with your friends. You will not regret going here to eat at all.
19. Brother's Pizza
I would never have gone to this location if Brother's hadn't opened up its restaurant for a neighborhood event. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the restaurant is and how exceptional the pizza is. I go there way too often now. My waistline is glad I didn't discover it sooner over the pa…
I am an Italian grandmother and natrually love to cook and entertain. There are many good American/Italian restaurants in town, but if you want the real deal you must go to this gem of a restaurant. Rightfully they have been in business for over two decades and that alone should tell you somethi…
24. Nonna Restaurant
This is without question the best Italian food you can find in Dallas. For all the people saying ""no no no"" - I feel sorry for you because you clearly do not know what wonderful Italian food should taste like. The handmade pastas which are perfectly sauced will have you coming back for more. I…
25. Campania Pizza
I am literally eating this pizza as I write. I've been in Dallas, from NY for about a year and I typically just stick to pizza hut :( because all the pizzas ive tried here are pretty bad. This so far has been the best pizza and closest to home. It's slices are a bit thin, and little pricey, but …
Really large portions, enough for two people to share. Server was very good at explaining meal options. This place is authentic - NO RANCH DRESSING - :) Nice classy environment. Cozy atmosphere. We would definitely eat here again.
We were in the Dallas area to celebrate our son's arrival home from university and our nephew's graduation from SMU. My husband and I have dined at Maggianos in Las Vegas many times with each time being better than the last. Maggianos at North Park offered exactly the right balance of a special celebratory dinner with a relaxing, "dress casual" experience we had in mind. The restaurant decor is comfortable, the host welcoming, and our waiter made us feel we were the only diners in the restaurant. Portions are generous! The boys ordered Eggplant Parmesan(outstanding), my husband ordered his favorite appetizer, Onion Strings(fabulous)and I ordered the Beef Medallions with Balsamic Cream Sauce(excellent). The restaurant location is easy to find, the parking is ample, and the noise level in the dining room is no distraction. A chain restaurant with a notable, enjoyable and affordable experience each time is the take away.
I heard of this new place opening up that offered pizza and calzones but not your typical pizza place. I went for lunch and was so glad I did! I had a calozone which was made right in front of me with all the fresh ingredients I chose. The dough was AMAZING, it was flavorful, crispy and light. I had it with the homemade marinara sauce and fell in love with the whole meal! I immediately started to think of all the different combinations i could have every time i eat here. The dining room was great, loved the decor and had cool music playing that was upbeat and fun! The staff was very friendly and helpful since i was new to the concept of the restaurant. I highly recommend this place for any food lover. I plan on next time bringing a couple friends with me and our own bottle of wine and making a night out of it! This area needed a place like this!!
I think "critic lady" must be a disgruntled ex-employee or something because she is completely off base. I've been there a couple of times and the food is excellent and the service was great. I'm Italian and I grew up in an Italian restaurant family in southern California so I think I can speak on the subject. The pastas I've had were fresh, tender, and homemade. I've had a few of their sauces (mine and tasted others at the table) and they were excellent. My wife has had the veal, our friends had the fish specials...everything has been impeccable every time we've been there. I found this review forum because I looked them up on the interent to get their phone number so we could call for a reservation...I'm glad I did, they deserve a better review than the only other one on here so far (and mine is more accurate:)).
I placed a to-go order today for my co-worker and I and it didn't go through their system. So, when I got there, my order was nowhere to be seen. The manager came over and asked what I had ordered. I told him my order and he immediately took it over to get it started. Within minutes, my order was ready! In the meantime, while I was waiting my order confirmation had finally come through their system. Their apologies were endless and they even added two complimentary mini chocolate cakes for dessert bc of the confusion! Very professional, very good food, and top of the line customer service!! A++
I have been to Bene Bene twice during October and November 2009. I had great food and great service both times. The first was on a Saturday when the restaurant was reserved for a private party and it was delightful, friendly, delicious! The second was a return visit for a business lunch with a friend. The setting was perfect, the food delicious and interesting, the service first rate. For lunch, I wish the prices could be a bit more moderate. They are a bit too high to become a regular, but it's a wonderful spot for an important meeting or a celebration.
entre of dover sole was delicious, but the tiramisu was absolutely horrible. My guest could not eat it either because it was so awful. When I called it to the attention of the waiter, he just blew us off and said it was fresh and should be fine...did not even offer to replace with some other desert. I am a desert freak...seldom am served desert so awful I won't even eat it! This is a first. A poor desert would not keep me from returning from a restaurant, but the poor attitude of the waiter certainly does! This one takes the cake. LIterallly!
Love, love love Battuto Italian Kitchen! Awesome atmosphere, great waiters/waitresses, incredible food. You can tell everything is handmade because it just tastes superior. The calamari was perfectly crisp with a great aioli for dipping. I dream about the chicken pasta with mushrooms and olives. And don't get me started on the desserts. My favorite thing to do is order the biscotti cookie plate and dip in vin santo for dessert. Just like in Italy! I can understand why this restaurant keeps winning all those awards.
After multiple experiences eating at Bugatti's I feel more qualified to tell you this establishment is excellent!!!! The owner, Zee, always greets us by name and are genuinely thankful for our return every time! You cannot order anything on the menu that will dissappoint you, this I promise! Bugatti's is white table clothed, rooted with history and has many grateful customers. It has a special ambiance when you enter. Always a family favorite!!!
Another Italian place turned us out on Valentines's Day. Not to worry, it was a stroke of luck because that's when we found Bellini's on Congress. We had a wonderful evening and have been back several times. Everything we have ordered has been wonderful. Love that oil dip! Service is excellent and the staff is friendly. Great place for any occasion.
