We recently spent half a day in the building. There are several dealers throughout and a very nice Larger dealer (Jayroe Design) in the back center of the building. All the booths had good deals and quality pieces, but Jayroe's has the really nice pieces including Huge Doors, Russian Art, and they build custom furniture that really looks 200 yrs old. The frame shop in the back corner was a nice stop too. The do quality work and prices seemed really fair. The other 2 main stops were the jeweler who does repairs and the excellent tea room. The food was delicisious and good prices. Take a day off and enjoy this place with your significant other!

Should be ZERO stars (required to put 1 although not deserved) not because it isn't a cool store with really cool stuff because it is and it does but zero stars for their horrible customer service and how they mistreat and lie to their customers. If you see it, like it and want it then you best …
Although they have a decent selection, this ""antique"" store is rather pricey when compared to competitors. To make matters worse, the owner is rude and not particularly interested in actually selling anything. Save yourself money and headache - shop elsewhere.
I recently stopped into Jayroe's Antiques and Jayroe Designs. I think they are 2 stores inside of one space. Anyway, one does custom built furniture and the pieces are amazing. I believe all hand tooled work. The other business is all Eurpean Antiques and they are super nice pieces. I really enjoyed my time there. The lady who works there (I think the owner) was very sweet and super helpful. I recommend a visit for anyone that has the time. I wish my whole home was done with their pieces!
Absolutely an amazing selection of merchandise, with something for every taste. Mid Century Modern Chairs & Tables mix with 18th Century Italian Chests. The Art is just as varied with Eames Era Industrial Landscapes, 19th Century Japanese Woodblocks, 20th Century Art Photography and 18th /19th Century Landscapes and Portraits. Plan to spend some time, eat some jelly beans & peanut butter crackers while the staff offers you another cold water!
I love to shop and Forestwood is my favorite destination. They have something for everyone. You could furnish your entire home for the shops in the mall or pick up the final critical pieces to compete your decorating project. Prices are reasonable. I can't wait to go back. There is also a warm and friendly place to have lunch in their tea room. Menu is extensive, not just the regular tea room fare. There is a large selection of desserts.
Wow...this place has wonderful European Antiques and Custom Built furniture. I could spend hours perusing in the showroom. The owner was in that day and was very knowledgeable about all the furniture. They also do build to order furniture with hand carving and great finishes. I thought many of the custom pieces were actual antiques. A wonderful place to visit with excellent prices for the quality.
This collection offers an enticing blend of furnishings from the 17th through the 20th centuries. Composed of choice European and American furniture, painting, textiles and tableware, the assortment blends warm, mellow woods and gilded metal embellishments with an interesting selection of porcelain and ironstone, truly encapsuliting all of the best that this world has to offer.

I found all the antiques to be in excellent shape and enjoyed my visit. They also build custom furniture by hand and it looks great. Suzy helped me as I looked through their back inventory area, and was very helpful and sweet. They also sell beds and do bed conversion on antique beds. If you have tall ceilings and good taste, I recommend you check out Jayroe's!
Jayroe Design is located in the back center of Forestwood Antique Mall. Jeff Jayroe, the owner, has a huge inventory of European Antiques. He also custom builds Furniture that has a wonderful old world European look. He does all the work by hand, including the distress, carving, and finishes. A must visit when in the area.
Pleasant Surprise! As a resident in the Lake Highlands area it's nice to have another resale/consignment store in the area. Nice selection of all items from unique furniture to small foo foo items of decor. Loved seeing some handmade gifts from the local area As well. Will frequent this place!
