I am a vendor that was contracted to do a job on behalf of Bella Vista. My direct contact was with Jimmy Bullock. I was informed the job should be on fast track approval by next week, well it took 4. Then it was incredibly difficult to simply sign paperwork and get a check for half down so we could book the job, so I went to their office, met with Jimmy, signed paperwork and guess what.... no check. Despite making the appointment in advance, I had to come back an hour and a half later to pick the ck. We had the job done in 3 days, for which Mr. Bullock assured me we would have the final payment by the next Friday after the job was done. Guess what, no check. The following week I was told he would have the check by about 2pm that Friday. We arranged for my boss to pick up the check. Mr. Bullock asked for his name so his office would know. My boss called at 1:30 PM to confirm it would be ready by 2:30 for him to get. My boss shows up at 2:30, still no check and there would be no check, they are mailing them out and would not give it to him. UNBELIEVABLE. Well my boss is furious at this point. He had me follow up and find out what the heck is going on. I contacted Mr. Bullock who told me he was in a meeting and would be out in a SECOND! 50 minutes later, he still had not responded. 30 minutes later, no response. I called the Bella Vista Office and spoke to a PARTNER. I explained the situation and he explained their check process to vendors. I told him that's all fine, but if its always the following week and checks are always mailed, why was I allowed to come in to get the first check? But more importantly why did first, Mr. Bullock promise me the check last week? Then promise me and arrange for my boss to pick it up the next Friday, and why when my boss called the office an hour in advance was he told to come get the check, if it was NEVER GOING TO BE GIVEN TO HIM??? The partner, then said " I will ask Mr. Bullick what was going on in his head"!

I hired Arbria Construction to install a shower pan for a linear drain , complete installation of Kerdi board in the same shower, install new drywall throughout the Master Bathroom, install a new subfloor and prepare for tiling as well as to frame in a water closet door, cut down existing bathroom door to bypass new floor height, and install insulation in ceilings and walls.Although they talk a big game, they ultimately made a lot of mistakes and wouldn't take responsibility for ANY of them.1) The shower pan was installed with dips (low spots). When I confronted them about this, (after their own tile guy they recommended told me it was an issue) they insisted that it was fine as it was and that their tile guy used a level too long and they demonstrated with a shorter level it was "ok". But it wasn't. This will lead to standing water if not corrected. 2) They installed Kerdi Board to waterproof the steam shower and they left large gaps between the board and the corners/bottom/etc. making it difficult to seal up with the required tape etc. They ALSO, under no instruction from me, used REGULAR SCREWS to attach the Kerdi Baord to the walls instead of using the correct fasteners simply because they didn't want to wait to do it instead of doing it the right way. Now those have to be removed and the correct ones put in and then those holes covered before it can be tiled.3) I told them to be sure to put the insulation in the ceilings and all walls before they closed up the drywall ceilings. When I saw them they had already closed up all of the walls and insisted that they had put the insulation in the attic and in the walls. I had an electrician doing some work a couple of days later and he had to make holes in the ceiling and walls and they had NOT put insulation in all of the ceilings or walls. They put it in about half of the space even though there was enough to go everywhere. This was most important in the steam shower and they didn't put it there either. When I asked them, point blank, had they put the insulation in all of the spaces they lied and said they had. 4) The punctured a hole in the adjacent bathroom shower wall when installing framing for the vanity wall. I told them about it and they said they'd fix it when they came back. All they did was put caulk in the holes on the shower side on the tile. They didn't fix it at all. 5) When they were "done" they still hadn't cut down the door to the bathroom so that it would be high enough when the tile was laid down on the raised floor. They also didn't remove the drywall from the ceiling in the water closet and replace that. When I pointed these out to Haji and Malich Pula they promised they would return when the tile was to be done and return when the drywall was being finished to complete these two things. When it was time for them to come back to do these things, I contacted them several times via text and email and phone and all of a sudden they refused to respond to me or even acknowledge me once they had been paid. There are other issues we had but these are the main ones. They are affable and act like they know what they're tlaking about, which they might, but their word is worthless - if you can't trust them then it doesn't matter if they know their stuff or not. I would advise NOT hiring these men because they will simply tell you what you want to hear, lie to your face, and once you've paid them, never return to finish any outstanding items.
Horrible. They are a scam. Please look above at the fake reviews. Do not use these people. They take your money then don't contact you.
Hardworking, professional general contractor for the automotive, aviation, trucking/transportation, warehouses, and manufacturers facilities.
Very pleased with overall job . Replaced sideing and roof work done . definitely would use again in the future.
Very dishonest company that refuses to pay bills. I won a lawsuit against RNG and had to have a deputy go out to collect the amount awarded. RNG claimed to be bankrupt and said that the company didn't have any assets. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
Storm Damaged Roof 03/14/2014. They installed my roof on 11/23/14 to the letter of the contract. excellent experience and we could not be happier. We will use Sargents again.
Great Price, Wonderful Service & Very Nice People!
to court today to file small claims lawsuit
Do not trust them. They took my first insurance check and never showed up to do the work. Almost $12,000.00. I have filed a civil suite with hopes of us getting our money back and we have filed felony theft charges with the Dallas D A"s office. They kept rescheduling over and over. Delay after delay. Original start date was July 15th they still haven't returned our money. And Mike Sargent had the balls to say he was going to hold 15% cancellation fee out of our refund for cancelling. If this happened to you then please file a police report so they can submit it to the DA's office and please get in touch with an attorney and please file a civil suit and get in touch with the BBB and file a complaint. Do whatever it takes to stop people like this!!! I had to give it 1 star because the site made me. This company now also goes by 4mynextroof.com just an update!!!! We go to court tomorrow 2/21/14 for a judgment against Mike Sargent and his company. By the way I have since found out that he has done this to at least 13 other home owners.
