We spent almost 2 hours trying to celebrate my mother-in-law's 95th birthday. Our server, Sarah, informed us as soon as we sat down that our patience would be required as she was busy with three other tables. She seemed overwhelmed and irritated. We honestly thought she quit mid-shift as she disappeared for a good 30 minutes after we ordered. We did not see our salads until about 45 minutes after placing our order. When the entrees arrived, my mother-in-law's steak order was incorrect; it had mushrooms on it, which she is allergic to. We informed the food runner of this. Our server came to apologize, I guess, but in doing so, explained that we had ordered the steak incorrectly. When the new steak arrived, it still had a lonely mushroom hidden beneath tomatoes. We asked to speak to the manager after eating. He apologized, but nothing was comped nor discounted. The manager said our server was one of his best and was actually a manager. This was all very surprising considering her attitude and absence during most of our meal. The experience left us all disappointed. We won't likely be returning to this Saltgrass Steak House.

I had been to Shots a few times and was always impressed with the Screens and the amount of games and entertainment on tap. I like the feel of the place but the service has always been a little tarnished. I went back after about 6 months and found a new attitude and level of service. My work s…

Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. When you walk in the door they welcome you and make you feel at home. Great combo deals and platters but the wings are absolutely phenomenal. Try the Caribbean sauce mixed with the original hot!

We have been looking for a really good barbecue place in Houston that reminds us of the bbq we wouold get in Austin. This is the closest and the best we have had. The sauce is a little weak but the brisket and beef sausage were wonderful. Try the ribs as well. Nice rub and the brisket is wel…

this restaurant is close to me and i don't understand why they have some of the toughest ribeye steaks i have ever had. a few times they were good only when i requested to speak to the manager. i don't know why they can't have tender steaks all the time. tilman fertitta you need to get another supplier for your steaks.
Amazing bbq! get the double meat plate with brisket and ribs with a double side order of beans! you wont be disappointed :))
been eating here for decades. never fails
Last evening My fiancee and I stopped by to have dinner before a movie. We both ordered prime rib. She ordered the 12 oz. and I ordered the 16oz. Prior to ordering I ask the waitress to check with the kitchen and see if the prime rib was very fatty for the evening. She assured me it was not so we placed our drink and food orders. When our food arrived I we noticed that both prim ribs were the same size and that mine was mostly fat. We asked for a manager and John came over to our table. I ask john if he would eat what was on my plate. He admitted that no he would'nt. John was very helpful and offered us anything to make it right. We thanked him and told him that we were out of time because our movie was about to start. When I recieved my bill I was surprised to see that my charges included $2.95 for my tea, $9.99 for range rattlers that I was to eat with my meal. Not to mention that my date would not eat her meal because of our experiance. I asked for a manager again just on principle. This time Cecil Phillips came to our table. I honestly do not understand how this person could be the general manager of any service business. He was rude, arrogant and no help at all. He obviously was angry that we had troubled him on a busy night. I explained that I regularly dine at Saltgrass at Willowbrook and have not experianced the same problems. Cecil Phillip's parting comment?......wait for it........" same meat there...same meat here"It may have cost me $45.48 for nothing... but all in all it was worth the education. The Landry's name used to mean something to our family and friends but like a lot of other high growth companies something has been lost along the way. I have never had service problems at Pappa's resturants. Thank you for your time.David T.
