Avoidable place. There are better places to live.

Nice location. Mgmt is crappy. Whatever good feelings you have about the stay here, the experience dealing with apt mgmt while/after you move out might remove any good memories you might have.

But because it's an older apartment, ceiling leaks is very common. Our house ceiling leaking at two different places.

When that happens make sure you record in a written format even if they come and fix it. We learnt it the hard way. Don't trust the office staff will record your over-the-phone complains.

One of a common norm is that the apartment management will never refund you the deposit. EVER! The carpet is changed at the end of the lease term - no matter how good the carpets are maintained.Be prepared to forfeit the deposit amount, when you leave.

The apt mgmt will come up with smallest pretext to take the deposit amount and levy additional charges from residents. This has happened to many of our friends who stayed there and now to us.

They are charging us for the carpet damage from the ceiling leaks!

When you submit your 1 month notice to vacate the premises, the apartment staff might advice you to just vacuum and leave and they will clean up the carpet (if its due for annual maintence). DON""T fall for it. Just leave it spotless. They need smallest excuse to replace carpet at your expense.

The experience with seemly nice, Apartment Manager Bruce; and ACCO management, Mike, can be very traumatic and will certainly remove any good memories you may have living there.

Two cents: Submit a written record of all defects you encounter during your stay. You may discover the office staff, apt resident manager have short term memory. Put everything in writing. Take video/picture and safeguard yourself from paying out of your pocket for damages related to or caused by any inherent defects in structure.

Looking for Apartment? There are many nicer ones close by ..Try Villages of Cupertino. I had friends whose experience after lease end was much nicer. Its closer to Garden gate school. Why deal with unethical people?

Great memories of Glenbrook

When I lived in Glenbrook, it was the best place around to live! I can't tell anyone how it is now, (I lived there about 15 years ago) but from my 4 years of living there, I have nothing bad to say about it.

Do not live here

This apartment complex is very Deceptive. You get the impression that it is a very nice community to live in, but the apartment is a hassle. The managers are non-responsive and VERY RUDE!!!... The parking spaces are tiny and my car has gotten dinged on more than one occasion.

Condo like enviroment

I love this place. My experience as a California Native is that Glenbrook has been there for a long time
and has great service, great private apartments that seem more like what you get in condominium.
There is a huge city park ajoining the complex, a Junior College next door, a senior center on the corner,
and the Cupertino schools are top rated in California. I found that I got what I paid for, because Glenbrook
provided a good enviroment for my family.
