Hair By Misty

Just left misty!I love her! I never let anyone do my hair because I'm afraid I will not get the results that I want,she was able to achieve the color I wanted as well as the style I can't wait to play with it!

I found misty when looking for a stylist for my wedding. She has done an amazing job from basic cuts to fixing my fried hair on a snowy night.

I had my first visit with Misty today. She took time to get to know me then she transformed my hair! Her place is relaxing, comfortable, and welcoming. I've found my "forever" Stylist!

I am so excited to have found Misty at Hair by Misty. She is the best! I love that before she even begins your hair she talks to you about what you like and don't like about you hair. She is very patient when listening and understands how to work with someone like me who often doesn't know exactly what I want or how to describe what I want. She is very easy to talk to and genuinely cares about making her clients happy. I love that she will clean up my bangs in between cuts without charging me. It keeps me from taking the scissors to my own hair. While I like to go to the salon alone, sometimes it is not possible with children. Misty is very understanding of this and has worked with me when I have to bring my children. She has also cut my children's hair and they love her as well! She has an excellent line of hair products too. When I first started going to Misty my hair felt dry and coarse, I bought some of her conditioner and could notice a huge difference in my hair texture. She could tell a difference as well by the time I returned to see her. I cannot say enough great things about the personal service I receive from Misty!

Misty did a fantastic coloring job on my hair. I had her put violet red and dark brown slices of color over my natural brown hair, and it turned out gorgeous! This was my first visit to Misty, and it was also the first visit to any hair stylist where I left feeling absolutely no regrets on the final outcome. She did an amazing job. Beyond that, she's very personable and has an amazing ability to put you at ease, especially when you are a little nervous about doing something bold, like putting streaks of violet red through your hair. She's my colorist for life now.

Misty is fantastic, she can turn a hot mess into a work of art! I've been going to Misty for a couple years now and would recommend her in a heart beat, hair and her clients are her passion. Misty keeps her skills current and fresh by attending classes and conferences whenever the opportunity presents itself. With other hairstylists I was always quiet in the chair, not with Misty she will talk and listen to you from start to finish and even after your out of the chair. She has a large following of clients, but she doesn't rush you out or make you feel like a time slot. I have been going to Misty for 3 to 4 years. I made an appointment at another salon, and thankfully was lucky enough to get Misty that day. After that I would only see Misty and was more than happy to continue to have her cut, color, perm...whatever I was choosing to do at the moment, once she started Hair By Misty. Misty continues to attend conferences, etc., to keep up on the latest styles and techniques so that she can offer the best to her clients. Going to Hair By Misty is like spending time with a good friend, but this friend can actually do hair.

Misty is fabulous! She is so warm and kind and genuinely cares about her clients. She remembers conversations. She checks in on you and provides AWESOME tips for hair care. Getting my hair done with Misty has been an experience! You don't just go in and get it done. You get a style consultation and her honest opinion. And, she can do a lot of things that many hairdressers wont do like beautiful color extensions. I have naturally curly hair which can be very difficult to manage-but now I am the girl that other naturally curly girls ask, "Who does your hair?!" I am ALWAYS happy to tell them. MISTY!!

You'll love Misty and her very cool space in her home for her salon. She has been doing my hair for about a year and i kept going back to her because of her way with hair. Now that she has her own place it is really convenient to make an appointment.

Misty is GREAT with hair! She is willing to listen to what you want and suggest things and even tell you if it's not going to look good. She did my hair for my wedding and it turned out BEAUTIFUL!
