Closed for business, Crown Point apparently doesn't care about their health & supporting a local store that provided steroid & antibiotic free products! I guess I will have to go back to home delivery like before it opened! Oberwiess thanks for trying, so sorry it didnt work out for you here, I tried my best to support you & tell people!
We used the kennel from 2/15/14 to 2/17/14. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE. As a reviewer posted 2 years ago, it is FILTHY. Feces are everywhere - the outside runs are literally caked with feces. Feces lined the walkway to the kennel building. The indoor kennels are too small for dogs larger than 20lbs. I could see no drains in kennel portion - liquids would run into a central drain in the main walkway. They keep about 7-10 of their own dogs there - the dogs each had 2-3 uncleaned bowel movements in their kennel, their feces were everywhere. We are pretty sure our dog WAS NOT GIVEN WATER - when he came home he drank water like crazy. He had 3-4 bowel movements of his own in his cage when we picked him up. They may not have fed him the food we brought - he had horrible flatulence and diarrhea. The office space looked like something out of Hoarders and had all kinds of filth on the floor. This kennel should be shut down
The only place to use when having to board your dogs. Great, caring staff. Clean and welcoming facility. Our fur-babies got to stay together in one of their cage-free suites. We were able to check in on them daily and see pictures on Facebook. They came back happy and ate their food (which was an indicator to us that they were happy because the last place we boarded before we moved to NWI, the dogs did not eat and were caged at night.) Here they had a full day of daycare and only slept in their suites at night. Also, they have 24-hour staff so we felt very comfortable. We brought our dogs back for daycare a week later and also had them groomed. It was the best groom they've ever had. (Havanese and Standard Poodle)
