Overall

We will never go back. Food was good, but what we didn't like was the attitude of the owner's wife. Several of our new neighbors mentioned that the Family Ties Restaurant was a great place for breakfast. We had recently moved to TN and had just that morning gone to get our TN drivers license, our TN license plate and also registered to vote in TN. Because of our accent, the owner's wife asked where we were from. I said from upstate New York, but proudly added that now we were Tennessean's. She said and I quote "You may live in Tennessee, but you'll never be a Tennessean." Not very good customer relations!

Overall
Not what it used to be

When we lived in Crossville a few years back it was wonderful! You could get the best coconut cream pie, etc. The food was delicious. It is still a place to visit though I'm not sure if it is b/c of reliving when we lived there or b/c the food is good too. But the pies are not what they used to be. Bring back coconut cream pie. They used to be just like my mother and I used to make at home.
