Extremely disappointing day care experience! This center is poorly managed and the owner is clueless on how to run a day care. The director is the height of incompetence, would say whatever you would want to hear. However, the concerns were not addressed. Speaking of staff, some of them were unfriendly, careless and ghetto. The staff was allowed to have long pointy artificial nails working with infants and toddlers. While dropping off my child, it was observed that one caretaker did not wash her hands after changing a child's diaper, took her gloves off and proceeded with tearing a cereal bar into pieces with her long nails. Cross contamination? It is unsanitary, needless to say, unsafe, posing a risk for injury. My child and the rest of the family had contracted a stomach bug from poor hygiene practices at this day care. It didn't stop there! She was diagnosed with UTI from improper diaper care and diarrhea. Overall, my child's needs were not met, her personality has changed from feeling crappy. Although extra food was always provided, it wasn't fed to her. Since she was able to self feed finger foods, she survived on rice puffs during 9 hr day. It is child neglect! In addition, one caretaker failed to report a fall incident where one child was accidentally knocked over by her. The toddler fell on back hitting his head on the hard ground from standing position. It makes you question what else went unreported? How could any parent rest assured after witnessing the incident firsthand that their child is safe there? You cannot trust them! Simply put, negligence, lack of credibility and professionalism. Please do not repeat our mistake, do your research before sending your child there!
