A Safer Start Child University

This is an amazing place to work (and to send your child). I really can't say enough wonderful stuff about the incredible people who make up this special place. Great families, too! Just an all around dream!

I agree that the posting about the price being too high seems off base. Although this place is (slightly) more expensive than our previous day care, the difference in quality is unbelievable. We use the webcams and like them, but more importantly, our son has blossomed and has gone from hating his old day care to smiling and singing all the way home when we pick him up at Safer Start. The teachers are genuinely loving, the expectations are developmentally appropriate, and best of all, they let each child be an individual. Our son is a little bit of a "square peg," which his old center complained about, but the teachers at Safer Start celebrate his personality and have restored his self-confidence. When my 2-year-old kisses and hugs teachers that aren't even in his room full-time, I know that he's getting the best care I could ask for -- and that's worth an extra few dollars.

My child goes here, and it is wonderful. The teachers are warm and caring, and the curriculum is excellent. I'm not sure why the other post says it's not worth the money. Really, do you want a discount day care? It's worth every cent, and that from a parent who doesn't even use the online option because I'm too busy at work to do so.

Technology aside, this place just does not have the facilities to justify the high price. Cramped spaces and a lackluster play yard. Don't waste your time. These people are very impressed with themselves, but I would rather know that my child is having a good experience than to be able to see her on my computer all day.
