This is our favorite place to go. A neighbor told us about this salon and we had to check it out. The shop is clean and the service is great. You get a great haircut for an even better price. Highly recommended.

I wasn't happy with the service at this place during my visit on 9/16. The receptionist was on phone when I entered at 4pm for a 4 PM haircut appointment for my daughter. I stood there for a couple of minutes hoping she would at least make an eye contact and acknowledge my presence. So I went and sat in the waiting area, opposite the reception desk. The lady just finishes her call and walks away from the desk even before I could get up from my seat and check in with her. In a couple of minutes another hair stylist (I presume the owner of the place) steps in near the reception counter and starts doing the numbers for the day never bothering to check again with a waiting customer. The receptionist meanwhile is tidying up the space the hair stylist had just then finished. Around 4.15 I walk up to the desk and let the lady know that I am in for an 4 pm appointment. She says ok, the stylists are busy now, would be done in 5 mins. While I sat down a White guy walks in and the receptionist immediately rushes from one of the work area's she was cleaning and checks him in. That's when I felt I was being discriminated for my color. Once the stylist got free and my daughter started getting her cut, I noticed a couple of families that walked in were immediately checked in by the Receptionist, in spite of her being away from the desk cleaning up the place. She used to rush in to her desk and check in the customers. That sealed my doubts on the attitude of the people working at this place. Cranberry has a large presence of non white population. Imagine what would happen to the business of this place if they all started avoiding the place due to their discrimination. For me, the first visit is going to be my last.
I had been going to Family Cuts & More for a few years & only had 1 complaint at the time, the stylists spend more time talking to each other than to their clients!!! The last straw was when I went in for a cut & color, I had been paying roughly $50.00 she had told me & another customer that there would be a price hike...OK....this time when I paid I almost fell over I went from $50 to $80!!! My hair didn't get longer or thicker it's actually getting thinner!! I haven't been back since. I don't mind paying for a service or even a price increase but a 60% increase is hard to swallow..
Best salon in Cranberry for a truly professional cut. Beautiful salon and a very friendly staff. I highly recommend Salon Z
Fantastic hair styles for my wedding! I went to Family cuts and had 9 people for my wedding party & the ladies did a great job on everyone! I was so pleased with our up dos and the pricing. I would recommend to everyone!
Never ever go there..I asked for a "body wave/to a slight curl" and wound up with a poodle perm. I am embarrassed to be in public with this and will have to cover it with scarves all summer and they will not credit my charge account claiming that they did the "work" ..so what if it is not what I requested. They told me the tight poodle curls that stand straight up on my head is a "body wave". STAY AWAY!
