At night when you're just looking to have a nice time, the patio is awesome and the drinks are OK (though Waitiki has better ones), plus it's located right near all the clubs. However, when you're looking for lunch in downtown, be weary and stick to what you know. As all things downtown, this place is overpriced for what you get. The buffalo horns are pretty great and I usually get them, but today I really wanted some chicken nachos. I got them and to my surprise there was very little chicken and black beans so I asked them to put on a little more. Instead they put more chips and cheese on....... I thought, with men working the kitchen, I would get some decent nachos, but alas, no, more than half the chips had nothing on them and were discarded into the trash. I spent $10 on nachos and did not get what I paid for, that was worth $6 tops. /sigh
I used to live in Goshen Indiana where there is a high percentage of Mexican influence. While living there I used to frequent the Mexican restaurants where I could get absolutely amazing homemade food. I have been living in Florida for seven years now and I have not been able to find anything close to what I had in Goshen until Tacos El Rancho. I traveled from Jupiter to Orlando one weekend to visit a friend and stumbled upon Tacos El Rancho with the help of my GPS. It has been over a month now and I have not been able to stop thinking about it. I had the enchiladas and they put an amazing green sauce on it. I will have go back to Orlando just so I can experience again the best enchiladas I have ever eaten. Thanks Tacos El Rancho! By the way my friend had the nachos and literally inhaled them.
Simply the best Mexican Resteraunt I have ever been to. I cannot remember what it was called, but in the fish section of the menue order the shrimp burrito with the cheese sauce, it is absolutely incredible, and your taste buds will feel like they have tasted heaven. They use a white cheese with a sauce that is amazing or maybe it is just the cheese, I dunno. The resteraunt is close to the road, but who cares, it has an intimate atmosphere, the staff are attentive, you get your order quick and you get more then enough food. I will miss this resteraunt when we move. I feel it is the best one in Orlando.
Honestly the best tex-mex i have had since the move from texas. In dallas there are a bunch of 'on the border' restaurants, which has the 'three sauce fajita burrito' - my ultimate favorite. Well, let's just say i have not had the opportunity to consume anything even remotely close for the past year, until now. Thank you for being soooo wonderfully delicious. oh, and cheap :) I recommend the Mexican Burrito, i think it's called. But all of the food is fantastic, so there's really no going wrong! Happy eating :)
The food is delicious, service is great and the establishment is warm and inviting. I thought this place was going to be another taco bell/chipotle grill type of place but I was wrong. The servers German and Matthew are excellent and the tall gentleman with dark hair and light eyes, I think he is the manager is very nice too. They all make you feel welcomed and appreciate your business. FOOD IS GREAT, I can't stop saying enough about this place.oh I almost forgot the drinks are GOOD TOO ;)
Food is AWESOME but the service is terrible. Have eaten here 3 times and while I cannot praise the food enough, the wait staff leaves a LOT to be desired. Twice our waiter came back 20 minutes after ordering to ask us again what we had ordered. He had not even put our order in yet, then when it did come, it was incomplete. From waiting for drink refills to not getting everything ordered, the service is just not what one would expect. Food is incredible though, and we will be back.
Is an excellent place, food is delicious, serve hot and on time. Atmosphere very familiar during weekend have Mariachis. Nice staff always smiling no matter if the party if for 2 or 20 at the same time they serve with the same love, enthusiastic, they go beyond. English-Spanish Speakers. Price for all budget, portion plenty you'll never go back home hungry. This is one of our favorite restaurant when family come to visit this is the first restaurant we went to eat.
We walked in and the host greatest us warmly. The atmosphere was very authentic. I didn't like the cheese dip but my wife did. The margarita was very strong (that's how u make a margarita Mexican style). The service wasn't very good. Took a while for drinks he didn't smile, didn't suggest anything for us. But the food was great. Came out hot and fresh very good. And by the way (garibaldi) is a Mexican plaza over in Mexico city.
HAHAHA BMON THATS HILARIOUS But seriously, i think the food is GREAT, but the service is horrible. The sign said wait to be seated...we waited...for about 10 minutes no one came, place was kinda empty. I grabbed some menus and picked my own seat...still no one came..I had to literally go get someone out the kitchen..i was so mad...I wouldn't go there again..if it wasn't for those dame delicious Carnitas...mm..
The food is good. Their smoothies are the bomb. But their customer service turns me off. Everytime I go there, they get my order wrong. For Example, I want to replace my beans for plantains on the meal. And they say sorry we cannot do it. The meal comes with rice and beans. How hard is it to replace the beans with plantains? I just don't understand why they make it so complicated. But the food is pretty good.
