Personal Injury
Mr. Williams graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans in 1979 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1983. Mr. Williams earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1988 from LSU Law School, receiving the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law in 1987. Following graduation from law school, Mr. Williams entered into a solo general civil practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, focusing on the areas of personal injury, worker’s compensation, lease disputes and personal injury defense. Later, Mr. Williams practiced for ten years with a litigation firm in Metairie, Louisiana, and his areas of practice included occupational illness, environmental property damage, lead paint personal injury and property damage, asbestos property damage, oil and gas royalty litigation, commercial litigation, construction and insurance defense.
Medical Malpractice
Mr. Sulzer attended the Tulane University College of Arts and Sciences in New Orleans, Louisiana. Based upon academic performance, he was admitted to the Tulane School of Law under the Dual Degree Program, earning a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) in History in 1989 and a Juris Doctor degree in 1991. Following graduation from law school, Mr. Sulzer entered into a solo general civil practice in Mandeville, Louisiana. Practice areas included general civil litigation, corporate, business and consumer law, as well family law. Mr. Sulzer subsequently joined an insurance defense firm in Metairie, Louisiana, initially focusing on medical malpractice defense. Mr. Sulzer’s practice broadened to include occupational illness litigation, involving representation of executive officers, product manufacturers, safety equipment suppliers and premise defendants. On February 1, 2000, Mr. Sulzer co-founded the law firm of Sulzer & Williams, LLC.
