I have managed to live 41 years without writing a review of any kind but my experience at Mr. Transmission was so poor it warrants this effort. If today my transmission went out in front of this place I would push my car past it to another shop! I went in for a simple transmission pan leak, three attempts later it is still leaking. Reasons ran the gambit of a bent pan you couldn't see, defective OEM new seal, OEM pan bolts too long. Really just throwing sh*t against the wall to see what sticks. I argued with the owner for two days about my car being an import it took special transmission fluid. Mr. Transmission had to call Autozone to find out what fluid was needed! Because the fluid cost so much the shop owner asked me to meet them "half way" even after I had to spend $100 to tow my car back to their shop from the $50 supposed repair the day before. I refused and demanded they buy the necessary 5 quarts of fluid to replace the incorrect fluid used. After picking up my car that evening the following morning it was leaking again. I drained the transmission taking on the job myself and found the shop had only put half the required fluid in the transmission. Upon researching the business online I found several poor reviews, the owner Linda has a very extensive rap sheet and multiple lawsuits. So beware of this place because you would be better served taking your car to McDonald's and have them work on your transmission.

I will go no where else to have my transmission repaired...No one does better. I had another truck repaired 12 years ago. Very good price and the transmission never gave me problems the rest of the time I owned it. I would give them 5 stars on promptness but I had to use UBER to get my truck back, they offered no pick up.
Met Linda shop owner at Wendy's my car wouldn't start she suggested that she could fix it for less than a couple hundred she said she had a towing company that she worked with well she had my car towed to her shop down the street 2 weeks later I was told I needed a new motor I said I just want my car back she charge me 250 for Towing 400 just to figure the problem I needed my car so I paid her had it towed up the street to another mechanic who told me my starter was bad he fixed it runs perfect less than $100 need I say more
New Ownership. As of September 2014, the new owners have booted the former manager and totally revamped the business.
They are the worst place to take your car I will never take my car back. They had my car for four day and the woman told me it's was going to take a day for me to get my car back never again
PLEASE DONT GO THERE. THEY ARE THE WORST!On August 17th 2016, I was relocating from Houston, Texas when my car started to slow down.My Car would not go over 45 miles per hour. Linda called me Tuesday August the 23rd 2016 and said my transmission needed to be repaired without giving me any details. I asked her how much it would cost and she said $2900. I told her to not repair the car until we agree on some type of payment. I told her I would be back in Houston on September 1. Since then, she has called me Everyday telling me that the car has been repaired and asked me to send her the money via western union. She said I could drive the car with a downpayement of $1200, then she asked again for the whole $2900, then she finally said $2000. I showed up at the shop and she was surprised to see me. The car wasn't ready. NOTHING had been done. They stole my jewelry worth $17,000 plus my 8 buddles of hair with closure $1500. DONT GO THERE! RUN AWAY.

I really wish I could give 0 stars! Not only has this company cheated me out of $1700 for a transmission rebuild they also have destroyed my car. I have had two certified mechanics look at my car since taking my car on Friday with police force and they both said these people never even touched the transmission. Nothing electrical works.. gauges, windows, radio, turn signals. They also messed my ignition up. my keyhole on the drivers side. I cant even use my key to unlock my door because there is not key hole anymore just a round hole. They had my car from April 12-June 24. I have a special needs son, these people defrauded me and caused my son to miss all of his doctors appointments and therapy sessions which are 3 xs a week and still unable to do so because they detroyed my car. That is detrimental to my son DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP PLEASE. THEY PREY ON THOSE THAT HAVE LITTLE MONEY AND THEN YOU END UP STUCK!!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
