Founded in 1926, Foothill Family Service is a nonprofit organization that is recognized by the Council on Accreditation. The organization provides counseling and mental health treatment for children education and outreach. It supports domestic violence treatment and prevention programs. Located in West Covina, Calif., Foothill Family Service offers services in more than 80 schools in over 20 districts, as well as various preschools, clients' homes and community centers. The organization also supports children, teenagers, adults and families. It offers child abuse prevention and treatment services that help families to overcome the trauma of abuse. The organization also provides teenage pregnancy prevention and family strengthening programs.
