Charter Oak Gymnastics

My two girls have been attending classes here for about 8 months now, they absolutely LOVE IT! My oldest has been in cheerleading before, the coaches moved her up to the class that fit her difficultly so that she was challenged right away. My youngest (at 6yrs) just has a blast with coach Anthony. The coaching staff here is super friendly, I cant believe that previous reviewer who said such things. I see that the upper level coaches are more intense but I understand why. They produce olympians and national champions! If my daughter ever gets to be that good, I would want her to be in a serious program like that, it would be nice to get a scholarship and get college paid for!

I'm so disgusted with this gym and their unqualified coaches!! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE coaching. VERY poor coaching, improper instruction, coach is eating while yelling commands. I've heard her say, "You look like a retarded frog doing that." What???? Also told a kid when they fell trying to do a cartwheel, "Yeah. Go ahead and do it again. I need a good laugh."....the nerve of the B*tch!!!!!



Very unprofessional and unfriendly staff. Last week the coach tells my daughter, "You failed today. You failed. You failed." So my daughter had her head down the rest of the day and was anxious about going again the next week. I am pulling her out and sending her somewhere else with people who actually KNOW how to treat others and know how to give proper instruction without insulting the kids. This is by far the WORST experience any of my kids have had with an extracurricular activity! The coach needs to be sent back to the ghetto!!!!
