Gentle Dental

I had a total of 3 appointments with Gentle Dentistry. The first one was a cleaning and they did a fair job. My second appointment was to have 3 cavities filled. I thought they did a fine job. My third visit is what I am rating them on. First of all they were overbooked and I had to wait an additional 45 minutes for my appointment. The dentist numbed up my upper gums on the left side I Believe by mistake considering the truth he was supposed to be working on was a lower tooth. He asked if my lower gum was numb and I told him no so he gave me another injection this time in the lower gum. At one point when he was Drilling I flinched because of the sensitivity in the tooth so he gave me another shot which number the whole left side of my mouth including my tongue. Toward the end he asked me to bite down hard which I did. I complained about pain in my jaw and he made a remark about my tongue getting in the way. It turned out that I was biting down on my tongue but my mouth was too numb to feel it. Today, 2 Days Later my tongue is still very sore. This was the worst experience I've had with any dentist in my lifetime. I am 55 years old. I don't know if the dentist was having a bad day or what but I will never go to Gentle Dentistry ever again.
