Metro Carwash

I went to this car wash (Metro Car Wash 2950 Harbor Blvd, Costa Mesa) to get my car shampooed and washed. They did a horrible job and scratched my car! When I asked the worker one on one he admitted to scratching the car. Once the manager Mike who was super rude and not helpful came over the worker changed his story. After a while they agreed to buff the car, but I still have a huge scratch and I have a brand new car. I spoke to the lady at the front desk and asked for a number for another manger or the owner and she gave me the number to the front desk! I will never go to this place again and you should not either. I wish I could give negative stars!

Keep away!!! . On 6/19/13 I took my brand new Ford Edge in to be washed and waxed.

Even before the waxing was complete I noticed damage such as pitting and swirl like scratches all over the rear bumper. I immediately called the manager Mike over to look at the situation and his response was that they didn't have anything that could cause that kind of damage. He advised that I call the owner Frank on Monday which I did.

I got the same exact response from Frank. Both were rude and short with me.

I said of course a buffer could have caused this if the pad were contaminated with some sort of grit/ pebbles / road debris.

I asked him if he even wanted to look at it and he said no, that I should contact my insurance. Why would I do that? They didn't cause this.

In short, they will deny causing any type of damage knowing the majority of people will give up . But I won't, especially because of their arrogance. I've been a 10 year customer!

So instead ,I've contacted his insurance ! It's Platte River Insurance.

(800)475-4450 , x 1355. Metro's Bond/ policy number is 41062492. Anybody that experiences damage should just contact the insurances company direct and don't think these are honorable people who will do the right thing. They'll cheat you in a minute, long term customer or not.

Not good at all. I have an SUV so they charge extra so I watched as they washed my car. They never washed the top. Even when my car was being wiped I kept waiting for them to get a ladder and do the top. When the person finished I (emphasis added) had to point out that the top wasn't cleaned. I stepped up on the driver's side and looked for myself. Sure enough it was as dirty as when the car was initially going through the wash. The guy did wipe it down and it did get clean, but I won't be going back to this place ever again. I only tried it because I go to a grocery store near it otherwise it would be too much out of my way just to get the wash. I would go out of my way IF they were worth it, but they aren't. Don't bother, not worth the time nor money.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAR WASH!! THEY DESTROYED MY CAR when I took it there to get it detailed. The owner Frank and his manager MIKE are nasty and are crooks. NO customer appreciation. If you take your car there your taking a huge chance in something happening to your car. Read all the reviews there terrible. I can't believe there still in business.
