The Bi Mart on 9th St in Corvallis SHOULD BE LISTED in Yellow pages because it is the best Bi Mart store of all those I have been in. One of the checkers can sign in ASL and all the employees are helpful and understand deaf and hard-of-hearing customers. The only problem I have ever had is a slow pharmacy, perhaps due to the high volume of people they serve and such a small sq. foot area that should be enlarged so more employees could work in the pharmacy section.
Having moved up here from CA, where the local organic produce shops and Trader Joes provide most of the items found at First Alternative for 1/3 the price, I was stunned at my Corvallis grocery bill. If TJs ever comes to town, this place is in big trouble.
Grocery Outlet is a standby for affordable items in Corvallis. That said, it's difficult to count on any particular item being available, and prices are edging up. What used to be a bargain at this store a year ago is only a marginal discount now.
The shopping is easy, it is convenient finding things in clear aisles and the checkers are friendly. The only downgrade is slow service in Pharmacy.
This Circle K is a bit dodgy, in a south town location. It shows in the upkeep. The Monroe Street store is much nicer.
I love this store. Everyone is so nice & friendly & they have a good selection of items. Definitely would recommend!
Good place to stop on your way out of town. You can get in and out quickly off 9th and on to HWY 99. Good pit stop.
Great location for a convenience store, just across Monroe from campus. Clean and well-stocked. Professional staff.
Great place to grab a cold one after class. Very convenient location on Monroe across from campus.
