Yolanda and her team at Medical Plaza Pharmacy are complete angels! When my mother was having a difficult time in and out of the hospital with multiple doctors, Yolanda was there with us every step of the way working as an advocate for my mom to ensure she was on the right medications. They took it steps further and delivered all medications to us on a regular basis. This is service you'll never find a the big brand stores. I'm so glad she opened her business here in Corpus!

LESS than disappointing. My daughter has osteonecosis of the ankle and is in severe pain even with medication. She was referred to Matison and had an appt over a month ago for measuring and fitting. Just received her brace today Aug 4 after repeated calls to find out the status of her brace. …
I would give 0* if possible. Suddenly, out of the blue one day, when I called for a refill, they informed me they'd simply cancelled a prescription I'd written for my cat (I am an MD) involving insulin he'd been on chronically. They said it was over "scope of practice" issues. I told them I could get the script filled at any other pharmacy in town. I told them I'd never use them for anything ever again, not for shoe laces or a stick of gum. The cheery pharmacist said, "fine". I hung up the phone angry and turned to the pharmacy at HEB on violet road who filled the script immediately.Never again.
I have used CVS on the island for the last time. Last three times we went to pick up order we had to wait. Now there out of my script and don't even call you back. When you call them you get attitude. WALGREENS it is from now on
This is one bad pharmacy. They lost one of my prescriptions (an important one) and not only they did not ask me if I needed to take it right away, but they kept me there 40 minutes and gave me attitude in addition. They also charged me a fortune for a prescription (having two insurance plans) and when I asked them if they had generic, the guy behind the counter just shrugged his shoulders and said no, he would not bother looking, of course. I changed pharmacies and yes, there is a generic. Avoid at all costs: unfriendly, lazy and incompetent.
