Child Support
Child support is a form of monetary payment that is made on a monthly basis by one parent to another parent. The child support payments are supposed to be utilized for the child's day-to-day needs and must be paid until the child reaches the adult age of 18, unless there is a change of circumstances, such as a loss of job or a substantial decrease in wages.
Child Custody and Visitation

Probation violation occurs when a person violates the terms of his/her probation. For example, if a person is ordered to check in with a probation officer every week, it is considered a term of his/her probation. This means that if the person does not check in with his/her probation officer each week, he/she may be charged with probation violation by state prosecutors. Once this happens, people may have their probation revoked and be ordered to serve their original sentences. For most people, this is a disturbing thought, as they may have to serve time in jail.
