In Here, It's Always Friday

Business Description
In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Corpus Christi, TX is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.

Awesome experience so good we went Friday & Saturday for lunch. The entire staff was excellent the food was just as good :)

I liked my experience

I had a cheesy chicken steak deal. It was amazing. My fiancé wasn't so thrilled on his steak. We went Friday night. Last night. They were quite busy and I waiter balanced things really well. My only complaints were the drunk cougars at the bar being unbearably loud. I couldn't even strike a convo with my fiancé. We couldn't hear eachother and we were sitting at a booth right infront of eachother. The girls who greet you and sit you at your table were blah. Didn't greet me. I actaully stood infront of a girl before she decided to acknowledge me. Also. The booth they placed me in smelt awful but the people in the booth behind us once they left so did the smell so it wasn't Fridays fault.

Terrible service, Food was bad

I dont know how people continue to go to this place. It took about 10 minutes to get our drink order, when only a few people were in the restaurant. There were about 6 servers and no one even seemed to care about the customers in the restaurant. I ordered a jack daniels steak, my wife ordered a chicken pasta. The steak arrived, way over cooked. My wife ordered a side of their bread sticks with her pasta and the pasta was just ""ok"", the bread sticks were nasty. I asked the waiter if the bread sticks were deep fried. He said, ""yeah, they started doing that about a week ago and i dont like it either."" They deep fried to get these things hot again in their fryers and they taste horrible. The flavoring of the steak was just bad. The service was horrible, I had to flag a waitress down to get us refills on our drinks.

Very good restaurant and conveniently located right off SPID. Place is clean and offers a variety of food which is all pretty good.
