I was going to sell something and asked for it back because they weren't able to sell it for what I purchased it for which was at a discounted price, understandably I had no problem with that and simply wanted my items back. She was angry that I was taking my items back and tossed my paper back at me and preceded to make rude faces at my 1 year old whom I was holding and thrust my items back at me and said here, we don't want them anyways!
Reselling works great, I agree with this, but only if both ends of the bargain make a small profit.
Does it make sense to resell items you purchase for less than half of the purchase price? So that only the place you are selling them at makes money? Obviously not. People who resell want a profit, or at least to break even...Am i right?
Why on earth would I only resell items so that I lose $50 out of my pocket, and Jypsy makes $50.00??? Common sense? Am I asking too much to actually make some extra cash?
According to Jypsy, re-sellers aren't supposed to make money.
Don't waste your time dealing with resale shops who view consumers and re-sellers as less than human.
Throw anything away you thought of reselling here with peace of mind...or better yet donate it to someone who can use it and appreciate your kindness.

Jypsy Treasure's, in business for themselves and aren't nice about it behind closed doors.

Super great way to make extra cash consigning your clothes. I have been taking my designer shoes, purses and jewelry to Jypsy's for years and have had a lot of success selling my items there. The ladies are very knowledgeable and know their business. Would recommend this store highly!
Super Great resale shop in Corpus Christi! I have been hearing about this little jewel from all of my friends and they were right! Amazing selection, sales, designer purses, clothes, shoes, jewelry and much more! Now I run in to check out the new arrivals at least twice a week on my lunch hour. I have found the cutest outfits there and now I'm telling everyone about it. The store is a pleasant place to shop, good music, friendly atmosphere and lots of treasures to look through. They even have vintage clothing! They inspect all of the clothes and only take things that are in perfect condition and as a customer, I appreciate that. The prices are great and the savings are even greater! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!
I have consigned several items at this store and have always been more than satisfied. These ladies really know their business and are very organized. Almost every month I get a check and it helps so much in this economy to be able to recycle my clothes, shoes and purses. I also buy most of my clothes there. I found the perfect party dress for New Year's Eve and the price was very affordable. I'm telling all of my friends about this special place!
I will never bring my items for consignment to this place again. I took in some items almost 2 months ago. Today I went to go check to see if my items had sold and to take some new items. Apparently they never put any of my items out because they were "not clean". They never bothered to call me to pick up my items. And on top of those items WERE clean. I've always made sure to wash and iron the items before I take them. The lady who works the consignment is extremely rude. Something similar happened to my friend and they actually lost some of her items, even though they didn't accept them to sell. I wouldn't ever shop there either, everything is overpriced. $20 for some used Walmart pants, I don't think so.
Jypsy's Treasures is the ultimate in resale shopping! I also consign my clothes there and have always been completely satisfied. The staff is amazing and professional. I have made a lot of money consigning my clothes, shoes and purses. It's a great feeling when I pick up my checks and know that I am recycling my unused items, I usually turn around and spend my check to buy new clothes. It's like getting something for nothing! The ladies are very nice and very helpful. They help people like me who are on a tight budget and in this economy we should all recycle more. They always give me a complete inventory list of what I bring in and the best part is the 50/50% split. Some places only give 40%. Jypsy's makes it so easy and I don't even have to make an appointment.
This is the best women's resale shop in the coastal bend! I have consigned many items with this store and have always received excellent service. They are very professional and extremely organized. Most of my items have sold and the ones that didn't sell were returned to me, with no problems. I would advise anyone to do business with them. They are friendly, upbeat and honest! It's the best place to shop for quality merchandise. I tell all of my friends about this jewel in the sparkling city!
I left 7 sets of beautiful Vanity Fair pajamas that were brand new, never worn. Beall's sells the same ones for $34.00 a set. Six of the sets sold but the personnel at Jypsy's can't find the seventh set. They told me today that they are not responsible for anything missing, lost, or stolen. I think the fair thing for them to do is pay me what I would have been paid if they had sold. I'm pretty sure the set was sold and someone just forgot to record it. I will not take anything else there to be sold on consignment nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. Customer relations don't seem to matter much to the people at Jypsy's Treasures.

Jypsy's really is a Treasure! I found so many cute outfits for myself and now my daughters have started taking their friends to shop at Jypsy's. I have a whole collection of designer purses that I purchased at Jypsy's at a fraction of the cost. The best day is the first of the month where many items go on sale for $1.00! I kid you not.
One piece of advice--buy it if you like it, because it will be sold if you wait until your next visit.
