Great staff, friendly residents, excellent food. My mother in law has lived there for the past 18 months. She has enjoyed it very much and has made many friends. The staff is very supportive and readily available for any of her needs.

I have been a tenant for 12 years and my rent just went up $70. My rent has gone up every year for the past 4 years for a total of $190. I have had no upgrades only replacement of appliances that were too old to function well. My carpet was not new when I moved in so now it is over 12 years ol…

I love this place. The owner has pumped a lot of money into the building and hired a professional manager and maintenance man. The grounds look great and the new lobby makes you feel like you live in a nice hotel. There were a few disruptive people but they are gone and I feel safe living the…

When I moved in to this apartment 2.5 years ago, I thought it was great. Now after having lived here and having my rent increase to over $1000 in the last 2 years, my opinion has changed. I have never once been late with my rent, nor do I ever have any complaints submitted about me, and yet the …

It would be a nice place to live but they ate always short handed and my kids cannot play outside because of tall weedy grass a lot of spiders which I am sure are poisonous. I'd work on the field myself but my back is a mess and I do not have a lawn mower or weeder. The office people also need t…

This apartment does a few things right. It's relatively clean, has nice pools, and easy online payment. The grounds look about the same in person as in the pictures. Staff is helpful. However, a couple repetitive, damaging negatives can (and did for me) ruin your experience. First, rent go…

Management are liars. We submitted an application for a 1st floor apartment, we were quoted a good rate, when we called to check on the status of the application, we were told a completely different rate from what was originally quoted in writing. When we confronted them about what was quoted in…

When I moved in to this apartment 2.5 years ago, I thought it was great. Now after having lived here and having my rent increase to over $1000 in the last 2 years, my opinion has changed. I have never once been late with my rent, nor do I ever have any complaints submitted about me, and yet the office staff treat me like I'm a piece of garbage. They come up with any reason to fine you without any warning, and if you call them to ask questions about it, you are treated like the scum of the earth. They have done nothing in the last 2.5 years to improve my unit, despite paying more per month. They improved the pool recently, which is nice, but completely eliminated the back pool (incidentally, the one closest to my apartment and the reason I chose this unit) and filled it in. This, I do not believe, is justification for the dramatic increase in rent. I frequently hear my neighbors' music and footsteps, but I don't mind, that's kind of to be expected in an apartment. The one good thing this place has going for it is the maintenance staff is very prompt if there is a problem. (Although when my toilet stopped working and they told me a plumber was coming the next day, I never saw a plumber and had to find, and pay for, one myself.) In conclusion, this place is nice to live in temporarily. It seems great when you first move in, and the office staff seem nice, but that all ends after you have been a good resident for an extended period of time. I guess they don't want people living here more than a few months.
This apartment does a few things right. It's relatively clean, has nice pools, and easy online payment. The grounds look about the same in person as in the pictures. Staff is helpful. However, a couple repetitive, damaging negatives can (and did for me) ruin your experience. First, rent goes up. In a short time, there was a 10-20% increase. Second, parking is limited, causing long walks at times. Third, there are repeated entrances into your home. Look around at your home and just imagine a stranger walking through when you're not there--damaging things (in my case). Fourth, my neighbor in building 19 (apt 1925) repeatedly played loud, bassy music. I could hear her through my ceiling. I couldn't keep paying almost 800 dollars for a place I could not relax in or study in. I wish she would have been removed by management instead of my having to move out. I wanted a place I could study in, dress and do makeup for work in, and relax in. Stoneleigh should see its not worth it to keep loud neighbors instead of quiet ones. It's about creating a community. If they cannot protect the privacy and comfort of their tenants, its not a good deal.
I moved into these apartments on February 27th. The staff is friendly and I had no problems in the beginning. But of course with all things you pay for as soon as the check clears and the rose colored glasses come off you begin to take notice of things. The rent is not bad for the style and size of the apartment. The grounds are well maintained. The apartments are roomy and the fitness room is better than most others. The walls are not as thick as I wish they were, and I can hear my nieghbors T.V. in my dining room and I can hear my nieghbors bedroom in my own on Fridays and Saturdays. I have really goofy nieghbors across the way. The kitchen is some what outdated and I have a sugar ant problem. But it helps keep me on my toes when it comes to cleanliness. The closets are hugeand carpets are nice and soft. The walls are painted beautifully it give the place a little extra class. Me and my fiance really like this place as our "first place" together.
They are great place to live until you move out. Then they charge you random fees for no apparent reason. I specifically asked, FOUR months in advance what the last day I could move out without paying on a day-by-day basis was. They told me then Nov. 4th. When I talked to them one month before my move-out date to make sure everything was finalized, that date somehow changed to Nov. 1st. They told me I misunderstood, I could only stay until the 4th on a renting day-by-day basis. I asked AGAIN what the final day to move was without paying anything extra. They told me November 1st. When I turned my keys in on Nov. 1st, I had a $30 extra charge for the day of Nov. 1st. They told me I misunderstood again. I graduated high school and college top of my class, and I have a steady job as an English teacher. I am fairly certain I do not misunderstand that easily, twice.
This is a really nice and quiet place to live. The manager and everyone who works in the office is always very helpful and very nice. The maintenance 'guys' are always quick to fix anything wrong in your apartment. I love the swimming pool, hot tub, the gym and the fact that i live in a gated community! My one BIG complaint is the parking .. I pay for my covered parking but a lot of other people, mainly visitors...will park in assigned parking over AND over again. They do all the time because not a single thing will b done. I was told the second time a vegicle parks where its not suppose to... it will b towed! Thats a lie. Also a lot of people dont know what a fire lane is... so they park there and block the fire hydrant. So just hope that there isnt a fire. If they would take care of the parking I would give this place a 10.
Ocean Drive Estates is a Great community to live in. It has new ownership as of May 2012. It is professionally managed by United Apartment Group (AKA UAG); San Antonio's leading management company of 2012. There has been over a 2 million dollar renovation to this community. The landscaping has all been replenished. There is a beautiful Court Yard located right behind the office. The Fitness Center has been fully remodeled with all new machines, cabled television, and wifi access. The Pool Area has been remodeled with brand new cushioned pool furniture. All of the apartment homes have been fully remodeled with new modern carpet, new flooring, new fixtures, the works. Ocean Drive Estates has made drastic improvements in the overall living experience.
I have been living at Candlewood since July of this year, and I absolutely love it here. The only thing I have a problem with is the constant sound of dogs barking. The person that posted a review right before me, I'm sorry you aren't getting the experience I am getting. I have never once had a problem with the ladies up front and my dog. If your pet is loose or your not cleaning up after you're pet or your pet appears ferocious I don't blame them for calling animal control. Anytime something has gone wrong in my apartment it's been fixed within a reasonable amount of time. I have recommended this place to a few people I used to work with and will continue to do so
Great place to live. Hands down, the most clean of Corpus Christi apartments. I lived on campus for the first yer and absolutely hated it. When campus quarters opened up, I moved off campus and into this great place. I renewed my lease because it is close to campus, next to the bus stop, and safe. They have police officers that patrol all night which is what I really like. The girls at the front desk are very nice. All bills included is easy for me to pay because I only pay one person. Oh, and the pool is pretty awesome :)
I have lived at Lexington Apartments for almost two months. The office staff is very friendly and helpful and the blue shirts - or the maintenance staff seem to know what they are doing and perform all work orders in an efficient, capable and timely manner. The grounds are always kept tidy as nice as well. There is a community building with classes and activities for both kids and adults as well. Its a great stepping stone for some and a nice more permanent home for others.
Campus Quarters has by far been the best place I've lived at here in Corpus Christi! Compared to horrible experiences I have had in the past they sure knew how to make this place feel like home. Since the first day of contact they have always answered any of my questions and problems. Their staff really stood out to me and showed how much they cared about their residents. Their rates are a little high however with everything that is included its worth it.
