I have been to this location a few times in the past year. You as a customer/patient are treated as an inconvenience to the office staff. I have yet to see a doctor...only newbie nurse practitioners. Forget trying to have a prescription refill authorized by them. This place is a joke!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I'm new to Corpus so when I got really sick (fever, cough, nausea/vomiting, aches, fatigue) I had no other choice but to go to urgent care. The first time I went here I waited 3 hours to be told that what I thought was the flu, was an ear infection. They gave me antibiotics and a cough syrup and sent me on my way. Two days later I had a 103.5 fever and new something wasn't right with this "ear infection." So stupid me went back to this place. Biggest mistake ever, I should've gone straight to an ER. This time I got there before they opened up in the morning and there was already 3 people waiting outside. I waited another 3 hours to be told "it's probably something viral" and they told me now that they don't swab for the flu there. So I got sent home taking 800mg of Advil around the clock for the fever. It's now been 5 days after my second visit and I am still no better than I was this past weekend except that my fever has been kept somewhat under control by the Advil. All out of options I went to a freestanding ER hoping to get some answers and help. The doctor there told me I've had the flu for the past week, but it was too late for me to get tamiflu now. And I have also developed an upper respiratory infection secondary to the flu. I regret going to the doctors center the first time but really regret not going to the ER the second time. They have no idea what they are doing here and don't care about their patients. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
If I could put negative stars I would. Not one person in this office was polite or even customer service friendly. I was there for 4&1/2 hours to be told my son had a sprained ankle from football game the night before. He was in pain the entire time and no one even assessed his pain level. Either they need to be educated on being customer service friendly or find other jobs more suitable for the B*tch Face everyone seemed to have. Don't get me wrong they smiled but once they were among themselves and not helping anyone.

Its' a scam for people with insurance. They first bill you as if you had visited an Emergency Room instead of an in network Urgent Care. The hospital and urgent care use the same tax code for billing. They secretly hope you don't notice. Expect to phone your insurance company numerous times for Driscoll to care to change it. Second, they bill you again for an out of network physician. Use another Urgent Care! Driscoll Urgent Care wants YOU to pay for all the uninsured in the whole Coastal Bend that use their clinic for FREE! The wait is horrible, and the physicians can't even diagnose a simple ear infection. If you want a bill of the excess of $300.00, this is the place to go! My insurance company gave me other places to take my child that will only charge $25.00 after this horrible experience. You pay enough each month for insurance, don't let Driscoll try to take you for a ride! They bill you twice! Once for the Driscoll Urgent Care(remember they try and pretend you went to the Emergency Room)and then for the Physician. Buyer beware!!! I won't ever return!
My daughter was seen promptly, an X-ray was offered at the clinic and reviewed before we left. The facility even scheduled a provider to deliver her foot brace!! The staff was caring and friendly! I am an RN and not easily impressed, but I was very satisfied and am going to use this clinic for all my family primary care!
