A group of us ( 10 people) went hiking on a beautiful Thursday to see the wild poppies at Chino Hills state park, afterwards, we were starving for wonderful Japanese food, we had wonderful experience at sushi asahi.
Iv been to every sushi spot in the inland empire. This is the #1 spot
This place has changed a lot since Chef Ikie and Derrick started about a year ago. Try the all-you can eat. Real cold beer...great place try it.
Great all you can eat lunch menu
The service here is TERRIBLE. The OWNER served us and was not only rude but un-professional!! He brought us the wrong roll and we told him it was not what we ordered so then he said he lost our order and retook it. we waited another 20 minutes and he brought us 2 correct rolls and then a shichimi plate which was wrong. we told him that it wasnt what we ordered and he argued with us saying we ordered it wrong and it was the same thing but salmon instead of the fish we wanted but it was not. It was no where near the same. He argued saying it was our fault and that he can ask chef to verify but he thinks its the same... It was a waste of time. I had to pay for a $12.00 plate that he wouldnt remove and was left there because he cant get our order right the second time!!! The food is not worth the crappy service. AS an owner you do not treat customers like they are stupid because you can't take orders!!!
quality grade sushi meats, fresh, clean.. great service sushi chef is very fun. will accomadate most requests not on menu.. tv at bar music in background.. yummy
Have tried several sushi restaurants in the area since moving here 5 years ago, and this is by far the best I've had. Sushi is always fresh, atmosphere is good, and the owner Bruce is awesome. Would definitely give them a shot.
