Walton's Heating and Air specializes in residential and commercial A/C repairs, furnace/heating repairs, A/C installation and Furnace installation, whole house fan installation and preventative maintenance. Keep in mind that with AC and heating, preventative maintenance is always more affordable than emergency services. Walton's can design and install the entire HVAC system for any new or existing home. Whether the systems are gas, heat pump, or another fuel source, we can size the equipment, design and install the duct system, and balance the system for comfort. Brand of equipment is the customer's choice and systems can range from the minimum 13 SESEER to 18 SEER high efficiency pending on customer's preference. We are located in Riverside in the city of Corona and service all of the Inland Empire, Orange County and San Gabriel Valley. We service both residential and commercial locations and we have a 24 hour emergency answering service for your convenience. Walton's Heating and Air is an authorized dealer for brands like Amana, Goodman and Quiet Cool Fans and we service and maintain ALL manufacturers. We charge a $69.95 service fee BUT that fee is credited toward any repair, service or installation costs that are done.

I wanted to get a thorough inspection done on my new home so I decided to call Walton's as they were highly recommended by a friend. The technician that came out, James, was very polite and extremely knowledgeable. He gave me a list of things I needed to do, things that he recommended I do soon, and also gave me the option of how much it would be to replace that unit if I wanted to upgrade and save myself a lot of money with energy efficient units since mine was so old. None of this was pushy and he left the ball in my court to decide what was best although he was there in case I have questions and gave his expert advice. I ended up getting the unit repaired and could not have been happier. Professional employee's, Professional Service.

Todd is very thorough. He came for a post installation inspection and walked me through the system to be sure that I know how to operate my new AC. He also reviewed the necessary maintenance to keep my system running efficiently.

I am very satisfied with the service I received from Christian! Now mind you, I am very particular about attention to details. Not only did he patiently listen and completed my quirky requests, i.e. make good on his co-worker's small slip ups, but explained what he was doing during my hovering moments. He went over and beyond with thoughts of safety for my grandson and that is priceless.

I had such a great experience with Walton's Heating & Air. I had just moved into a townhome with a 30+ year old furnace and was looking to get it replaced. Todd spent a couple of hours with me to understand my needs and walk through all of my options. Luckily, I was able to qualify for the Hero financing program and could pay for the replacement of my entire system over the course of 10 years - and the payments are included on my property tax bill!



When the crew came to install my new system, they were very thorough and worked well into the evening in order to finish the job. They even swept the floors after they were done. :) The installers, Matt and Brandon, were very cordial and respectful.



I received excellent service from Walton's and recommend them to anyone looking for a very thorough estimate, a fair price and a job completed to the highest standards.

I don't usually write reviews but this time I felt compelled to do so. My comfort advisor, Todd, came into my home, was very thorough and knowledgeable about what I needed. He made thorough calculations of my home, to make sure what I needed wad precise. He was not pushy, or overbearing, which I appreciated.

My installers, Kelly and Justin were amazing. They knew exactly what to do, explained what they would be doing, and timeframe it would take them to accomplish the task.

This is a fantastic company, that has awesome employees, that I would highly recommend to anyone. You won't be sorry if you choose Walton's to take care of you.

Overall

Walton's (July, 2015) refused to honor a 10 year parts warranty for an Amana furnace and air conditioner sold by Erik Walton in April, 2009. The refusal was based on the pretext that the manufacturer (Amana) requires that the unit be professionally maintained (with the receipts to prove it) for the warranty to remain valid. Since we maintained the unit ourselves, Walton's claimed the warranty was now void.



When I insisted that professional maintenance was not required and that our purchase papers even lists a 10 year parts and 10 year labor warranty, the office clerk sent a technician (Freddy) to repair the air conditioner.



During Freddy's visit, he diagnosed the problem as a faulty run capacitor, and stated again that I would need to pay for it because the lack of professional maintenance was required for Amana's warranty. After showing him the purchase papers listing the 10 year warranties for both parts and labor, he called his office, put back the defective part, closed the cowling, took pictures of the unit, and left, saying that either Erik or his manager would be calling me to resolve the matter. I never received a call.



The next day, I called the cell phone number of Erik Walton who stated that he had sold the business to a Las Vegas corporation several months before and was no longer affiliated with Walton's Heating & Air Conditioning.



I then contacted Amana, used the serial number to identify the furnace & air conditioner at issue, verified that it had a manufacturer's 10 year parts warranty (the additional 10 year labor warranty listed in the purchase papers was apparently that of Walton's), and was told explicitly that the lack of professional maintenance "will not effect the warranty in any way..."



If you are a Walton customer having purchased an Amana/Goodman product or requesting warranty service, and have been told that professional maintenance is required to maintain a valid Amana/Goodman warranty, you may want to begin addressing the issue by calling Amana Customer Service at 1-877-254-4729.

We had an issue with our air conditioner and we had called Walton’s come to check out our unit. A technician James came to inspect our unit. He immediately informed us that we needed a new air conditioner unit and gave us a price range of $12,000-$17,000 for a brand new 4-star unit or he gave us the option if we spent $500 during his visit he would be able to get our current unit working and the $500 would be deducted from the price of a new unit. We refused the service and refused a brand new unit and we were still charged $69.95 for the visit and were not given a receipt. We then called MB Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, and their service charge was only $59.00 and the technician from MB told us that there was nothing wrong with our air conditioning unit, that it was an issue with our circuit breaker, that the switch was not turned back on after recent work on our circuit breaker, so there was absolutely nothing wrong with our air conditioning unit in the first place. We had received another call from Walton’s and the sales person was very pushy about trying to sell us a new air conditioning unit, which of course we gladly declined since we did not need a new air conditioning unit.

We were sold a$24. Run capacitor for $278. Talk about taking advantage of a home owner. All we wanted was the air conditioner to be serviced. Our bill that day was over $400. I will warn everyone I know of your scare tactics and post on every site.

don't waste your time or money with this company. while i was reasonably satisfied with the purchase a new 10-SEER unit from this company in 2004, it wasn't until 4 or 5 years later, when i had Walton's replace my FAU and coil, that i learned that Walton's hires untrained, incompetent help. it was just brought to my attention yesterday, from another A/C servicing company i hired, that the plenum that Walton's installed above the new coil in 2008 had a gaping hole of air leakage that was sending air swirling around the furnace cabinet, NOT around my home thru the ducting system, as it should have been. all along i knew there was something wrong when the adjoining wall to the furnace cabinet was very warm in winter.



if Walton's is reading this, i challenge you to do the right thing and contact me and fix the problem at YOUR cost. i shouldn't have to pay another company to undo the mess that you left behind.

My household has trusted Walto...

My household has trusted Walton's with our heating and air repairs for years! Last summer our air conditioner stopped working on one of the hottest days and although they were slammed-busy, they still made time to come to our home to fix it. I really love that the $69.95 charge to come out is credited toward any services that end up being done. Its very fair that way and the guys are always very nice and professional. In my experience, they have been less expensive than other competitors in the area and also gave me realistic suggestions on things that needed to be done to save money on our AC bill in the future! I highly recommend Walton's Heating and Air to friend, family and even people I don't even know!

What a horrible company.

I just wanted my furnace repaired. They sent a salesman who knew nothing more than to try to sell me a new system. I finally agreed. Well the new system is leaking water, noisey and from what other people are telling me i paid way to much. The wost part is no one will come out to look at the problems with the new heater, and it is supposed to be under warranty. These guys are nothing but crooks.

3 trips to our home, no one could tell me what was wrong, just kept changing parts, and charging me for repairs that DID NOT fix the problem. Finally called another company who fixed it on the first visit, for less than 1/2 of what these guys charged me for NOT fixing. RUNAWAY FAST from these guys!
