Not the best, but not the worst preschool. Could use some friendlier staff. Not the best, but not the worst preschool. Could use some friendlier staff.

TLC is No place for my kids! If you love your children then I bet you will agree. The owners are more interested in making money rather than ensuring the safety and care of your children. The place is very dirty. The toys look like they are 20 years old yet they charge some of the highest prices in the area for day care. They promise to potty train your child in one week so that your price will go from $170 to $80 which is a lie. My child was there for 2 months and he still was not potty trained. All of the teachers look like they live hard lives. Some of them have missing teeth. The bathrooms are very dirty with clothes, bath and body work products, and food storage, basically all things that should NOT be in a bathroom for sanitary reasons. Don't believe me, just ask to use the bathroom. The final straw for us was that they threatened to kick our son out because we went out of town for a wedding. I told them that we requested a vacation week in advance and they told us that we still owe 1/2 of the tuition ($85) which we never agreed upon in advance. We were told that we were allowed a vacation week as long as we gave proper notice which we did. Finally, we recently called to request their company's EIN# so that we could write off our daycare expenses and the Supervisor told us that she would not give it to us until we paid our balance for our child being absent while we were on vacation. Basically, they tried to prevent us from filing our taxes which is a federal crime over a balance in dispute. We were able to obtain their EIN# but we had to report them to the IRS. Watch out for this place!!
Welcome to Sunrise Children's Center. It is a brand new school under new ownership and license. We are currently enrolling all age groups
I’ve always been very skeptical about leaving my daughter to a Daycare. As a new Mom, I tend to be very protective of my little girl. How can a stranger take care of someone else’s kid, right? So after much thought and lots of prayers, my husband and I decided to let go and take our then 2 yr old daughter, Keilana, to Kid’s Haven under the care of Donna…and it was our best decision yet!!!Keilana, who at first was very shy around people, became very active and sociable with all the kids at the Daycare. Since we only bring her there twice to three times a week, she’s always so eager to see her friends and teacher. She learned so much at Kid’s Haven…she learned to recognize shapes, colors and numbers in only a few weeks. She also learned to color inside the lines. She learned to sing lots of children’s songs and she learned to recognize and write letters and she became very active as a child. We owe it all to Kid’s Haven…Kid’s Haven really cares for the well being of a child…they are hands on with the kids and the food that they serve is also wonderful and healthy. My daughter would come home asking me for pasta and vegetables and would say to me…”Mommy, I want vegetables like the ones at Daycare…” It is truly a wonderful haven for my little girl.l just gave birth to a son a couple months ago and I wouldn’t hesitate to take him to Kid’s Haven as well…I would recommend it to all the Mothers out there who are skeptical about leaving their child to a Daycare because Kid’s Haven is not just a Daycare…it’s an awesome home for your child to grow, to learn and to be loved!
Owner is very rude and has no compassion for special issues. Over all staff is great. But the owner needs to learn how to talk to people.
:::WARNING::: PLEASE READ! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOLI unfortunately could not be more disappointed and disgusted with this school. I recently moved to the city of corona and was looking for a great new school for my 2 year old. We started during the holiday season so an abnormal schedule was expected. January 6th started a regular schedule but by the morning of the 9th I had rushed to the school to pull my child out.Jan. 6th evening - I picked up my 2 year old and asked the teacher how my child's day was. She stated that my child played by them self most of the day because the other children are very rude.Jan. 7th- I noticed something very unusual during my child's diaper change at home that evening. It's a normal routine, at home, that my husband and I put diaper cream on my child during changes. In the morning my husband put cream on but did NOT send it to school. At the end of the day we received a report that my child's diaper was checked 6 times during the course of the day. While changing my child that evening I noticed diaper cream was still on from when my husband applied it in the morning.Jan. 8th - My husband walked into the classroom to drop off our child and noticed there was NO teacher, however there were several children playing. He peaked in the next room and asked where the teacher was. The teacher looked puzzled and replied, "She should be in there." As my husband walked into my child's classroom the teacher was walking out of the restroom! How dare she leave the children without any supervision!!Jan. 9th - As my husband put our child in the car for school our child started crying that they didn't want to go. This is extremely unusual! As he pulled up to the school our child screamed that they didn't want to go. Unfortunately he left our child there but quickly realized it was a very bad idea. I rushed to the school, which was 25 miles away, and told the receptionist I wanted my child and that we would NOT be back. By the time I arrived my child had only been at the school for 45 minutes. As I walked towards my child's classroom I was stopped and told that the director would like to speak to me first. As I stated my concerns to the director and receptionist another teacher was overhearing the conversation. Enough was enough, I was done explaining myself and told the director I wanted my child NOW. As we stepped into the classroom the teacher that had overheard my conversation was sitting in a circle with all the kids and my child's teacher. My child was standing and they were singing a song about how happy they were that my child was there. The director says "see, look how much fun she's having." My child notices I'm there and runs up and says "momma, I had a good day at school today!" SHE WAS ONLY THERE 45 MINUTES and had NEVER said this to me before. How dare they manipulate my child into telling me something that wasn't true! I couldn't get my child out of there fast enough. Please do not make my mistake and enroll your child in this school. Make sure to check all references, reviews AND other parent feedback. Take the time! This is your child's well being we are talking about!
