terrific pizza at a terrific price. We eat here often when in the lake norman area! They serve a wide variety of food and beverage.
I am from NYC and I was very happy with the pizza. The whole ambiance of the place makes me a feel like I am back a home.

Just plain BAD. Undercooked and bad service to boot.

Provided by CitysearchDon't bother wasting a dime here. Wait staff/cashiers lacked customer service and friendliness. Food was overpriced for lunch (They do not have a lunch menu, only a few lunch specials). Calazone was a burnt ball with a wad of three scant toppings in the middle. Too many other options are out there for decent food for the price. The Mooresville location is MUCH better!
My husband and I eat here all the time, both lunch and dinner. The owners and staff are more than accomodating and needless to say, we love the food. It's a family affair, both by the owners and our family always eating there. I highly recommend this place, people, and food. The clam chowder on Fridays is a family favorite! Thanks to Craig and Lucy for a great family resturant. Elaine

Provided by CitysearchVery nice atmosphere, good food, and nice staff working. Very inexpensive for the quality of food. There are always specials and new items to try. Staff is always very patient and friendly!
If you like the New York style pizza, this is the place for you!! We love their appetizers too! Great atmosphere and very friendly service.

Provided by CitysearchWent there three times. The first time I was there, there was a waitress putting the numbers on the pizzas as they were placed on the waiter/waitress bar awaiting delivery. She constantly caughed into the pizzas. Getting over this nasty experience the first time, went back to give them a second chance and thought the pizza was average. The third time I got a pizza to go and decided that their pizzas were not good enough to ever go back. I have found a good pizza place not foo far from South Brooklyn.
I moved from Long Island NY 9 years ago and searched high and low for a Pizza that is as good as the Pizza you get in New York. Many restaurants claim they are but I have only found one that even comes close and that is Brooklyn Pizza Parlor. Having been disappointed by every other Pizza I tried in Charlotte, I was elated to find this place. Hope you stay in business forever! Arlene Dunn

Provided by CitysearchWe try to get up to Brooklyn South whenever we can - food is amazing, atmosphere is great, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Their pizza is out of this world, just about as close to something you'd find in a pizzeria on a corner in New York City somewhere. Their cannolis and Italian cookies (not sure whether they make them in house or get them from a bakery, but who cares, lol) are AWESOME, we make sure to get some whenever we go. Brooklyn South just catered a large function at our church as well - they were wonderful to work with to get all the details down, and the food was spectacular, we got rave reviews from everyone who attended. Chicken parm, baked ziti, garlic knots, salad, and Italian cookies were served and everyone attacked the food as soon as it got there. All I can say is YUM. Make sure to visit whenever you're in Cornelius!!!!
We have eaten at Brooklyn for both lunch and dinner and it is wonderful. The best chicken parm in Charlotte, the Vodka Sauce is better then my homemade. And those garlic knots are awesome! For a couple who have lived in the north this is true NY cookin! The only change is we would like table service instead of ordering at the counter.

Provided by CitysearchBeing from the Buffalo area I?ve had a lot of slices of ?Buffalo? pizza in my day, and I am always wary when I see my city in the title of a piece of food. I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza. The sauce had a good spice, and the combination of all the ingredients left a very good feeling in my palette. I ordered a side of blue cheese with my pizza for dipping purposes, and I?m happy to report that Brooklyn South Pizza knows what constitutes a good blue cheese, which is surprisingly hard to find in this area. My only complaint with the pizza was the fact that the name said Buffalo WING Pizza, but the meat was in actuality cooked chicken breast. In this day and age everybody know what they are getting when an order is placed for a Buffalo food item, but I feel that if wing is in the title there should be actual wing meat on the pizza, which is a very difficult process.
Overall I was very happy with my dining experience, and I have now found a new spot to get good pizza. I give Brooklyn South Pizza a B+ on the Tasteville scale, and I can?t wait to try other items on the menu.

Provided by CitysearchFollowing it?s already exemplary reputation, Brooklyn South lived up to expectations once again. Their subs harkened to a cold winter day in the North East, when the only thing that you have to look forward to is that delectable sandwich at lunch. I chose to go with the ?cold? version of the Bronx Bomber, and everything blended together beautifully; but what really makes a good sandwich, such as the one I just ate, is the bread. I am not sure where BS gets their bread, but they should be thankful everyday that they have this connection. The bread was crusty on the outside and soft in the middle, just to my liking. The Bronx Bomber contained all the good things you would expect on a quality Italian sub, with a homemade Italian dressing which brought everything together. As the Mayor of Tasteville I can confidently recommend sandwiches at Brooklyn South, and I give them a 9.5 out of 10 on the taste-o-meter.
it was good for a pizza place, and for this area it is good pizza, but not so much brooklyn pizza.
no flavor to the crust or sauce or cheese and all that OIL - on the pizza, on the baked zita. and no garlic flavor to the Garlic Knots, although the were fresh and tender. i used a coupon to try this restaurant for the first time and still felt like i didn't get my money's worth of taste. i won't go back.

Provided by CitysearchComing from the New York area, it was refreshing to get a taste of home in the south. Their stuffed pizza is awesome!!!! If you want to try something a little different go with the buffalo wing pizza (my favorite)!! A great place to eat in, they have a wonderful patio area outside. The only drawback is no delivery.
