I bought a couple items on April 4, 2017 at 8:32 pm on my way back to Atlanta, GA. I accidentally left one bag at the check out.
I called yesterday to try and see if my parents couple pick it up for me since they live in Cordova with a picture of the receipt since I took the original with me to Atlanta. I called customer service and a middle eastern/Indian man verified that they needed the original receipt and couldn't use a picture.
I then asked if they could use the receipt on the Walmart app's saving catcher. The guys would not and could not give me a definite answer. I got sick and tired of it and asked to speak to the manager. He tells me that he is the Customer Service Manager; which is ridiculous cause he didn't even know the answer to a customer service question nor could he even resolve the issue. He then put me on hold for 40 minutes. He was trying to get me to hang up and I know this is a tactic.
When he finally took me of hold, he asked me if someone was helping me probably because he thought I hung up by then. I told him yeah, you are supposed to be helping me. He then gives the phone to a lady. She then telsl me that she is the manager. *ding* I then asked who is the real manager because the guy told me that he was manger. I could tell she was flustered by my question. Then she told me that she was the supervisor to the store.
She resolved the issue and told me that she would be at the store till 3pm the next day and would have the things ready for my dad to pick up. I gave them my dad's information. I thought this issue had been resolved.. I was wrong.
Today(next day): 11:30am
My dad gets to the customer service desk and they told him that they put the items back on the shelves even though I was told that I had till 3pm today. They told him that he needed to go get the items from the shelves himself. This is not acceptable. I told him not to worry and to just get a refund because...
THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE! I AM FURIOUS!!
1) Never ever ever enough cashiers to check people out in a timely manner
2) Whoever works in the craft area that is supposed to cut the material for customers wanting to buy a few yards - basically either does not exist or hides when they are paged. TERRIBLE customer service on their part.
3) This store is always dirty/messy.
