Our family always enjoyed the pizza at this local family resturaunt (we order out most of the time) and one day after his High School football game I asked where he wanted to get wings from. He said La Suprema has incredable wings and boy was he right. We bought 50 at a very good price. Medium and Medium Garlic and Hot Garlic. Not only did they pile on loads of garlic but the garlic looked like it was hand chopped. The sauce was perfect and the wings very tender. Oh, don't want to forget we ordered the celery and blue cheese and they gave us plenty. Not the one tub blue cheese deal. Lots of celery and 4 or 5 tubs. Staff was great and I just want to thank the owners and staff for all the great meals! Yup, I'm stoppin by there after more of our football games for sure.
If you enjoy pizza from Chicago, New York, even Northern Italy, you will love Anthonys. If you crave that stuff from Pizza Hut (and all like them) fast cooked, fast food then you dont know what youre missing. And thats fine; it just leaves more for folks like us!! Their pies are wonderful - crispy crust, exceptional ingredients and generously topped. The salad for 2 is huge and delicious (we always take home the leftovers.) The service is wonderful even though it can be very crowded at times. But be mindful, the pizza is baked in a Coal Oven, and is well done. And done well!!
I am an Italian in a constant search for good, southern Italy, italian food. I finally found great food! This is a delicious restaurant. Excellent, very friendly, service, affordable prices. All of the dishes that I tried make me moan for more. My judge of good food is if the last bite taste as good as the first one and this food does just that. They have the best garlic rolls around and a fantastic sauce. Nick takes so much pride in his food that the first time I dined there I gave him a standing ovation. It is a very clean, homey restaurant with a wonderful menu. Yum! (Can you tell that I love it?)
Every little community has a wonderful Italian restaurant. Well, Big Anthony's does it for my community. Usually you can get a seat right away; sometimes there is a wait. When I gotta go local, and it has to be Italian, this is where I and many others go. . When I feel adventuresome, I like to try the good local Italian restaurants, to see what I am missing. Every place has their own touch. Any local Italian restaurant that I go to must meet the standards set by Big Anthony's. Some meet those standards. You will find that Big Anthony's will meet your standards also. -Jay
Ordered pizza - not delivered to table until other person at table had already finished salad and almost all wings. Manager finally came over to check how food was especially since it was the first time I was there. I showed him my empty plate and finally realized that I had not been served. At that point I told him we had to leave and just box it. It was then given to me by waitress along with the check. The manager was no longer anywhere to be seen and nothing was comped on check due to poor service and unconvinced. Needless to say it was my first and last visit there.
Just an average pizza place, but one thing they are best known for is their Tuna Pita. It isn't actually pita you get it on, it's pizza dough that they stuff with tuna, it's delicious!! It comes with a salad, and a cup of ranch dressing. Also you can get it as a melt, or add chesse to your tuna pita, either way you will be completely satisfied as soon as you take that first bite. The tuna is big so it helps to share it with someone, I personally eat the whole thing by myself that's how good it is!!! Check out this restaurant.
Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Coral Springs is much better. Giovanni's in Parkland isn't bad either. When Scarfones says thin pizza, its THIN alright....you get mush....thats my experience. Wings are good, but Anthony's recipe is better. The atmosphere is relaxing, but the service is rushed....you feel like they want you out in a 1/2 hour....that guy Danny seems nice, but i've seen a rough side to him one time. If I want to see that, I can go back to Pizza Time!
The pizza is not bad...but the atmosphere of the employees is horrible! I always pick up my pizzas, and there can be 3-6 people in there working at a time...not a smile to be found, no courteous greeting, and they all look like they have a gun to their heads while they are working...what a miserable place to be...I've been in there at least 12 times over the last few months, and I think I'm done with that place...if they are that miserable, it makes me wonder...
My husband and I visited this place this evening(10/14/2011). We read the reviews listed about the restaurant and was impressed before we went there. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. My husband and I ordered a deluxe large pizza. VERY GOOD!!!! Very flavorful and not greasy!!!!! The icing on the cake for me was that the owner came out and introduced herself to us; and thanking us for coming!!!! I will return to this great pizza place!
Our elementary school ordered over 75 pizzas from this location to be delivered to the school for an evening event. They not only delivered as promised, the pizzas were HOT and delivery was PROMPT! The manager even called us to let us know how the order was coming along which elliminated any stress over the food for the function - very nice personal touch! They worked as a team to pull this off and we will definitely use them again and again!
