I had cateract surgery with a Dr.Bailey at Dean McGee. He told me that I would be able to see very well far away and maybe need reading classes for close up. I had the surgery done and could not see far away at all.I went in to have the other eye done, which I am legally blind in and told him that I was seeing very blurry far away and he just went in to all these medical terms. When I went back for my postop appointment, I told him again about seeing blurry. He told me he must have put in the wrong lense. He said that he put in a 26 and maybe it should have been a 24. He told me nothing could be done but get contacts or glasses. I would never ever go there again. I would never go to Dr. Bailey ever again.

I truly believe that Dr. Phelps saved my vision and allowed me to be able to watch my 4 month old daughter at the time grow. After a retinal detachment at only 25 years old Dr. Phelps placed a buckle. 8 months later I am doing great. Dr. Phelps is amazing and knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Grindstaff is really great and has a cool shop. I always feel like I have a thorough exam and get the coolest glasses. I don't mind paying a little more because I can't get a lot of the stuff they have anywhere else.
Dr. Shaver's office is an incredibly friendly and efficient office. I called for an appointment, and even though he's an eye specialist - they worked me in within the same week! Dr. Shaver spends enough time with you in the room so you will understand what may be going on, and was just very professional and friendly! I will definitely be referring everyone to go see him. I may have to have cataract surgery soon, and I am very comfortable with Dr. Shaver being my surgeon.
Loved my eye appointment with Dr Grindstaff, he was very informative and took the time to answer all my questions. The staff is very friendly and the office is very clean. I definitely recommend Dr Grindstaff to my family and friends. I can't wait till my next appointment.
My visit to Optique Vision Center went extremely smooth!! The staff used all of the latest and greatest technology available! They were very professional and friendly. They are the elite in their field, the Olympic athletes of vision care! Being a small business owner myself, I recognize great quality and great customer service as good or better than most... I highly recommend Dr. Grindstaff and his staff! Very impressed!
DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!!! I went in for a routine eye exam and wanted to get glasses and contacts. First of all, her employee told me that I could only get the $130 discount that my insurance covered on certain glasses provided by the insurance company. So I had to pick out a pair that I did not like as well, so insurance would cover most of it (her glasses were very overpriced). Then, her employee overcharged me by approximately $115 because she ran the insurance incorrectly. When I got home, I called the insurance company who then called the doctor's office to straighten out the issue with the bill. Also, the insurance company said they would cover any glasses except for a certain few brands (which the glasses I originally wanted were not one of these brands). I went back to the office, and told the receptionist that I wanted to change to the other pair that I liked better, as my insurance company would cover it (also these cost more so she would have gotten more money). She got the doctor involved who said that the insurance company would not cover them (even though I knew for a fact they would since I had just spoken with them). She then proceeded to tell me that this had already taken too long to sort out and asked me for the contacts back that she had sold to me earlier and said she could refuse service to anyone. She also told me that it was not their fault that the insurance was run incorrectly, when in actuality, it was. And to top it off, when she processed my refund, she did it incorrectly and wound up charging me AGAIN for the entire amount, and conveniently ran the credit offline, so I will not receive it for several days. So I would say if you have insurance, DO NOT GO HERE. I went to LensCrafters later that day and got some awesome RAY BANS (which were coincidentally covered by my insurance (who knew?!?!)) and don't have to deal with this awful woman anymore. Also, she nearly caused permanent damage to my friend's eye (luckily she got a second opinion). DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!
