After 4 years with them I missed an appointment and they promptly send me a $25 charge for not calling them to cancel. I realize many of the clinics do that nowadays but it still feels like a kick in the shin. Maybe I did have something come up that made it impossible for me to get to the appointment. No one time warning, no asking for explanations, no loyalty to customer, just pay and make sure to come back for more.I won't be going back.
They dont deserve a rating. My husband walked into the office and the front staff refused to give him appointment. He was completely congested and eyes were red and could hardly talk, but the front office staff refused to see him or accomodate him. They didn't even bother asking why he was there for. All they said was we cannot accomodate you. The doctor is awesome, but the bad rating is because of her front desk staff - rude and incompetent
I've heard Dr Swaldi is a good doctor. I wouldn't know if this is true or not since I've always been pushed off to a nurse practioner. He has 3 of them which seems excessive to me. My experience with them has not been good. Once I had a cracked ankle bone and she prescribed the wrong boot. I had to go see a specialist since the bone wasn't healuing properly. My next experience was even worse. I had an ear infection and she prescribed the wrong antibiotic. My eardrum ruptured and I had to be under the care of an ENT for over a year. I had hearing loss during the year it took for the eardrum to finally heal.
Horrible office staff. the only reason I stay is because my doc is great (Roberson). it may not be worth the aggravation of total chaos
In response to the review regarding the nurse practioners, I would like to say that I believe they are very competent and caring, as is Dr. Swaldi. My daughter and I both see Megan and she is very thorough. My sister also sees her and she was able to diagnose her condition, when several other physicians over a 4 year period did not. She diagnosed her and referred her to a specialist. This specialist recommended surgery and has cured her condition. The nurse practitioners also confer with Dr. Swaldi if they need his recommendation or advice for any reason. I have been very happy with everyone in this facility and the staff are exceptional at returning calls and getting refills called in within a 24 hour period.
I would tell others I got great care.
