Pacesetters began as a volunteer program during the summer of 1971 by caring citizens and family members. The goal of providing a humane and productive lifestyle for those with developmental disabilities began as an adult activities center. Operation began in October 1971 and has grown throughout the Upper Cumberland Region of Tennessee in the years since.Pacesetters has grown to become one of the largest community based day training and residential programs in the state of Tennessee. As of 2010, Pacesetters provides day and residential services in 5 Tennessee Counties and provides personal assistance in 12 Tennessee Counties

not a club

My daughter and I went for a visit walking in we see two people outside on the picnic tables making out, one a staff member the other a QAL inside all other staff on their cell phones no one attending to the needs of the indiviuals their was one screaming for attention another sitting in the corner like he was in a time out this was amazing to me no one was watching these people and no one spoke to us as to why we where there.
