Paid for my CPAP machine cash, then billed for rental. Did not pay, so they sent me to collections. I was never informed of a collection status. I was contacted by their collection company after I had already paid their fee that I feel was never explained to my satisfaction. Their AR dept has a horrible attitude and decided not to help me get their collection company to desist even though they were paid before I even knew I was in collection status. which resulted in PDC collections using the medical practice name to lower my credit score.
I have worked hard over the years to pay my bills and get an outstanding credit score. now that has been compromised quickly by a collection that was not founded. Now it falls on me to try and prove these PDC collections was in the wrong!
I urge you to reconsider not using a Doctor's office that would stress out their patients with a collection company within a six month period of service. especially after I paid $1095.00 cash for a machine that they recorded to the Insurance as a $555.00 claim.
I feel scammed and burnt by this medical practice.
I wish there was a negative star I could use to rate my experience.
Now I need supplies and have had to go on the internet to buy cause my experience with them was so disturbing. What kind of un-compassionate doctor allows this kind of staff to run their office?
